of course its pricey - its SOHO of course its small portions - its SUSHI but its a one of a kind place with amazing food if you know how to order right dont get "regular" sushi .. try something different - and make sure you get the tempura ice cream for dessert (its also the best value on entire menu and YUMMY !)

I'm so glad a place combined my two favorite foods so well Japanese and Mexican. I've been here four times since it opened. I always try something awesome and new. When I'm feeling impatient I reach for a sushi on the conveyerbelt. Definitely go here.

I had high hopes for this place, but the sushi tastes fake (like you're eating plastic. it even looks like plastic). the roll i ordered had "crunchy bits" which basically tasted like the shells that get stuck in your teeth when you eat popcorn. the salmon sashimi on top looked artificially colored and striated. just nasty. and there was nothing mexican about it. the tacos (tuna carnitas) sounded promising but left my stomach feeling like i had dropped a lead bomb on it. spicy (and i like spicy) but not in a good, back of the throat, nose-clearing kind of way. and they were 18 bucks. for three tacos (the size and shape of a taquito...meaning Little taco). overall, boo hiss.

I would't necessarily recomment the sushi here bc of the boat...but the menu items are awesome! I would especially recommend the Lobster Tempura burritos (sounds weird - its an amazing combo) and the Tuna Tartar pizza thing that is an appetizer. Anything pictured on the menu seemed to be the special and best items! I crave this place sometimes so I hope they open up on Seamless Web or something... I would definitely get delivery as well

wow, what a good idea that went wrong. Spicy sushi all the rage in USA... these folks manage to sli very badly. Most of their over-priced sushi has cream cheese .. yuk .. when mixed with their poor rice is really quite a mess... I have been to Mexico many times, and these dishes have very little do with their zesty foods.. and also to Japan... over 50 times... putting fish on rice does not make it wonderful sushi.. you must be careful to get the textures and food combinations correct. The have no idea. They should re-think their basic solid concept, and invent a spicy fish menu as their hallmark

I was excited to try this place. Love sushi on a conveyor belt.... Sushi was only ok. The rest of the food was super tasty- BUT way too expensive for the portion size. We ordered two tacos, the tuna tostada (delic), the gyoza (3 per order....why?!) and a shrimp skewer (2 tiny pieces of shrimp for $7??) Our waiter left us alone to talk- but also took forever to bring the check AND kept the change assuming it was his tip. $72 for two? I wanted to stop somewhere for a slice after.
