Hidden neighborhood Mexican gem
Everything is homemade and incredibly tasty! You feel like you are in Dolores's home. Reasonable prices and top quality authentic Mexican fare. My favorites are the steak tampiquena and the shrimp, amazing and varied burritos and salads - great, and different, breakfast options. The most amazing homemade flan ever! Scrumptious homemade lemonade too. Always PACKED at lunch, lines outside - a true gem and authentic Mexican fare served with love

Delicious Mexican- family run
Nice family run place and the food here is delicious. Best flan in the city! The lemonade and homemade chips are great too. Everything is homemade and you can tell! If you want an authentic, delicious meal, with a smile - go to Tajin. Don't think you're stepping into some Mexican chain either, this is the real deal.

If you want a good laugh, order the steak fajitas. It was inedible.

Excellent!
The burritos are huge and jam packed with ingredients whoever on here that said this is the smallest $9 burrito in nyc must be really greedy because it filled me up all day and I am not small or skinny. My office orders from here every week! Highly recommend

The Best Mexican Restaurant!
Tajin is the BEST Mexican restaurant I have had the pleasure to indulge my cravings for delicious, authentic Mexican food. My friend and I love going to this place for lunch! Even my daughter begs to come to my job after school so she can get her hands on Tajin's California Burrito. I have yet to be disappointed; everything I have tried on the menu has been extremely satisfying.

Poor service
Just tried to order in from this restaurant and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. The food was pretty good and we love Mexican food( order it multiple times a week). Unfortunately, even after they said they would deliver to us (we live on Greenwich - short ride from the restaurant) she refused to deliver to us because she said she wouldn't know where to send her delivery guy) you would think if you lived on the same street as the restaurant, it should't be too difficult to find. Too bad - would have loved a good Mexican delivery place, but we will never know now after that experience.
