Smallest $9 Burrito in the City!
Whoever said this place is a better value than Chipotle really needs a reality check! They have the smallest $9 burrito in the city. The price keeps going up and the burritos keep getting smaller. Its like a miniature burrito. I know I didnt ask for the children's meal.

Go-to neighborhood Mexican
Tajin is the best low-key Mexican place I've found in the area. My boyfriend and I frequent this place because we love the food, the owner, and the value. Their menu is great, and they'll make variations of their standards if you request it. The best choices are the nachos and the chimichangas. They're out of this world. This place is a definite go-to, and you'll never have to think twice before heading over there.

Way better than Chipotle
I've only done takeout from here but the burritos are superb and a much better value than Chipotle (only other Mexican place by my office.) The staff was extremely friendly. The place is tiny though and was jam packed when I arrived at 12:15 with a line out the door.

Delicious and Dependable
We go here at least twice a week, and it's consistently great. The restaurant is small, and they do turn tables over quickly, however it's one of the few places downtown where you can be in and out in 20 minutes or less. Those looking for a leisurely lunch should probably head elsewhere, but if you want great food, quick, and cheap, pick Tajin.

This is a great value for an excellent meal. It definitely stands out from chain and most other Mexican restaurants--food seems to be very fresh. While the Quacamole is a bit expensive it is delicious! The staff is very friendly.

Pleased customer
I used to work around the corner for Tajin and when we moved further away I continued to order from them The owners were very nice when I went to the store. Now that I have moved further away, I am not able to order as much as I would like to. They rarely get a large order incorrect. The food is delicious every time. They "do" forget somethings occasionally but they are more than happy to issue credit. My favorite dishes are Chicken Rice Saute and Pollo al Paisano. I wish that they would move closer: I would order from them three times a week.

Rude and poor quality customer service
No sense of customer service. Overpriced. At my first visit I ordered a vegetable burrito to stay. The menu said it came with beans and guacamole. Then when it acutally arrived it came without guac. and literally with 4 beans (which I had to search for). Though I very politely asked for it to be changed to what the menu stated, the staff was completely rude, and said that I could order a side order of beans (and pay for them) and that they hadn't had any guacomole. I've never had a restaurant act so rudely and refuse to fix what was clearly their mistake. This is when I sincerely pointed out the error and just asked for it to be fixed.
