Not really the place to go for good Indian
My girlfriend and I recently ate here. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and the mixed grill, along with the sampler appetizer and garlic naan. The mixed grill was the only dish worth ordering. The food was moderately priced, but the Tikka masala was pretty awful (not well seasoned, sause was very disappointing.) The lamb in the appetizer was ok, but nothing else was good. The garlic naan was not tasty at all. They put the garlic inside, but it was dry, brittle, and without flavor. The service was good and the place wasn't busy on a saturday night, but i wouldn't go back.

Worst Indian Food restaurant ever!
We went there for dinner on a normal Thursday night. Should've taken the hint since we went there around 7ish and it was still empty in there. We were the only people in the restaurant & saw the deal 6 course for $9.99. We decide to get that dinner option we were only served 3 out of the 6 plates and charged extra for the oiliest nan ever and over priced $3 a can soda. The chicken masala that we ordered only came w/ 3 pieces a person and was very disgusting. Needless to say we were all very disappointed w/ dinner that night and went to eat at McDonalds instead! I would never ever go back to this place again!

not good
I have visited many Indian restaurants. The food here was not good. Everything was really oily and none of the dishes tasted authentic. The names were totally misleading. I could cook better at home!

Gone Downhill...
I use to love this place- I lived right down the block and ordered/ate there at least 1-2 times a month. The food was always tasty, even when the takeout was somtimes a little (or very) messy. I even had a fantastic meal there this fall, maybe it was an off night, but my meal last night was very disappointing. We started out with the mixed appetizers- other than the samosa and one other one, the other 4 were quite bad. The naan was served VERY dry. I don't like greasy naan, but it looked like there was never a drop of ghee on there. It was so flavorless I ended up dunking into the chutney, which was also below standard quality. I was boring and ordered the chicken tikka, which I have had many times. The presentation was fine, the waitstaff, while slow was OK, but that chicken was VERY dry. My companion had the shrimp, which we enjoyed very much in the past, but it was not as flavorful as before. Maybe it was an off night, but with the slew of restaurants on that street I will not return. I know we were not the only dissatisfied customers, a couple (classlessly) berated the staff that it was the worst Indian they ever had. I did not find this necessary, we paid the bill and left, and will not return.

This place rocks!
Fantastic service, friendly waiters and mouth-watering indian food. It is definitely one of my favorite places for lunch or dinner. I recommend the meat samosas for appetizer and the chicken tikka masala as an entree. Oh and don't forget the naan!

Friday night delivery from Taj Mahal...
Food was a disappointment. We ordered garlic nan bread and it was greasy and undercooked even after we called, complained, and a second batch was redelivered. The veggie and mulligatawny soup was not good- just a batch of tomato soup with a bitter taste- you really could not tell the difference between the two of them. The samosas were two stale pieces of flour fried in loads of grease. The rice- well you can't go wrong and the fried shrimp bengali was three shrimp dipped in tomato sauce with onions- absolutely, no taste and well, the chicken karahi- very generic, again- it seemed like they used the same plain tomato sauce to mix all these dishes. Mango lassi was the only thing that was good.
