Not afraid of spice
A+ for actually making the food spicy when it's requested that way. The service is slow, but they seem to mean well.

I've been waiting for a good indian place to open in the neighborhood years
I just picked up the vegetarian dinner special for 14 dollars. there is so much food i could have easily split this with another person (only 7 bucks each!) and been completely satisfied. There is a lot of food, and its all quite good. I called in my delivery and arrived within 15 minutes and the food was there waiting for me.

Too long to wait for wrong order
We were really excited as only recently a group of new Indian restaurants have appeared. We thought we would give this new place a try and placed our order. The person who took our order said it would be 40 to 45 mins. Totally fine and understand as it was a Friday night. One hour later we called to check in and she said it would be there soon as the delivery guy just left. He was at our place within 15 minutes. They got one of the dishes wrong, it was a chicken dish instead of the sag paneer we ordered. Both of us were vegetarian so we called to let them know. They said they would send the sag paneer over and apologized, but it's been an hour since we called an nothing. Don't think we will order from them again.

Great Food / Poor Service
The indian food is the best in the neighborhood. Had vindaloo and tandori and its been perfect last 4x i've gone. Really quality stuff and great selection. The service is the worst in the neighbor hood. Every time I have been there 4x in past 2 weeks they consistently are unorganized and take forever to take an order or get to you even though theres about 5 wait staff in a 15 table restaurant. its insane. i called for food once and they guy took 15 mins to find the tandoori chicken on the menu and kept putting me on hold. i had to switch it to vindaloo cause i couldn't wait. i get there and it took 3 ppl to finally get to me to accept my payment and then while i was paying they put the bag down on a candle and the bag caught on fire. i think theres 1 guy there who knows what he's doing and like 4 ppl just kind of running around confusing each other. all in all i will always come back cause all the other food in the neighbor hood sux (except haab)

Thank goodness
Finally there is a decent Indian restaurant in Williamsburg. Actually, it's beyond decent, it's great! Only ordered delivery but phone service has been courteous and delivery times reasonable considering I'm in Greenpoint. Vindaloo is actually spicy and the vegetable dishes are chock full fresh veggies. Everything is well seasoned and not too greasy. The peshwari naan and the vegetable balti are highly recommended. They even threw in a free dessert when I made a big order. It's a shame that the previous reviewer had such a negative experience, if you make an online order and don't talk to an actual human it doesn't seem fair to be that angry. From my experiences (which are more than one attempt to place an order online) the customer service is fine.

They never delivered our order!
The customer service was completely unacceptable. We placed our order at 7:45PM and received a confirmation shortly thereafter that our order would be received within 45 minutes at the latest. After an hour and a half, we had still not received our order and we decided to contact the restaurant. None of our calls were picked up so we contacted Seamless for help. They phoned the restaurant and the emergency contact, and again no one picked up. We decided to cancel our order due to the complete lack of customer service.
