One of the poorest experiences ordering food. ever.
After putting us on hold and making us wait while they took 4 other orders, they brought the wrong food. After arguing with us the tandoori chicken they delivered was in fact not the the paneer tikka masala we had asked for, the replaced it with panir floating around in red tepid water. It was indelible. After 2:30 hours we had to stay up so that they could pick up the food (to prove we had not eaten it) and ended up going to bed hungry without a single apology. Well done from A to Z.

Mixed
I disagree that the food is bland- it's subtle, not all super front loaded with spice. And the breads are excellent. Their aloo saag is really good. But their saag paneer is rubbery. They should fix this.

Bland, but still the best in the area
We were super disappointed with the food we ordered yesterday, as it was mostly under-seasoned. The veggie samosas and my vegetable curry were very bland. The Aloo Paratha was ok, not very spicy, and the Biryani Tikka was so-so. The garlic naan was good. The taste was subpar, but I like the food here bc its not ever greasy or heavy. The interior is very pleasant - the sort of place I would sit down for a meal. The service is usually very good - a few times they've left out parts of my order. I was disappointed they don't offer their dinner specials all day, not sure why.

This place is amazin
This place is amazing! Such a good deal for so much food. There are like 100 options, including lots of vegetarian, and the spot is BYOB! Eat like a king and get wasted on whatever you want for under $30 total for 2 ppl

Longtime happy customer
I've been coming here with my friends and ordering out with this place since it opened. I loved it from the day the spicy vindaloo hit my mouth and the soup dribbled down my chin. I took a break from ordering from them for a while because the food was slipping in quality, major delivery issues, and some customer service issues. The manager was apologetic about everything and offered a discount on next order. That was a while ago.. Just decided to give it a go again and WOW, love it. The food is just as beautiful and tasty as the day it opened. I received some extra yummy items in my to-go order and i'm not sure if they remembered but they have brought me back as a customer. Its the small gestures that count. Thank you Taj Kebab for listening to my concerns and getting back up to speed. This is my favorite food in NYC. Keep up the good work and i'll make sure to bring my friends and clients in next time.

The best indian food in Williamsburg
The food is fantastic. Good indian restaurant food just like back in the UK. Its awesome that Williamsburg now has a viable Indian food option.

Poor delivery experience
Ordered from here a lot of food to have with friends. the order came after a very long wait--over $50 of entrees, etc. but with no sauces. When I called to complain all they did was offer to send out sauces meaning we'd have to wait another hour (while our food got cold) to get a few sauces. It didn't seem worth it- they should have offered a small refund or a small discount on a future order. Not to mention the woman on the phone was extremely rude and hostile--not a pleasant experience. Also the $2 for a side of yogurt was literally a tablespoon of yogurt--horrible value. The food itself was ok though on the heavy/greasy side.
