In my decades of travel, in search of things glorious and preoccupation worthy, I have eaten many a fine falafel. To find that the PERFECT falafel was awaiting me only blocks from my birthplace was an epiphany applicable to life. Sometimes the shortest journey is to the most significant discoveries. Thank you Taim!

Terrific. I have tried several places in NYC and I cant find anything better than this. There shakes are really good too (try the Banana, Date with Soy Milkshake)

I am so completely addicted to this place. I try to limit myself in going there only twice a week, but it is so good! The food is top quality and the price is completely affordable. Love it.

It's a small space, but it's clean and bright, and in my experience, the service has always been very friendly and sweet. The prices are reasonable and the falafels and pitas are really fantastic. It's more expensive than Mamoun's $2 falafel sandwiches, but a much more civilized and relaxing experience (as well, I think, as a less-greasy sandwich).

Ok, I'm pretty much a cynical New Yorker, always skeptical of reviews that claim restaurants are "simply perfect," but I must admit that Taim is wonderful. The food is fantastic and the reviews here about the food are right on. The red pepper falafel is delicious, everything is fresh and the hot sauce isn't for the weak at heart-- it's HOT sauce, people, and it's simply perfect. Really. Friendly and prompt service, too. Only bummer about the place is that there isn't much room for seating inside, so just take your stuff to go and stroll around the lovely west village. Life could be worse.

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat in the west village. The owners are great. I would recommend the original green falafel balls, not as big as the ones you usually get elsewhere, but much crunchier and flavourful. The spicy tunisian were OK. Smoothies are outstanding so I've heard from my dining sidekick. Pitas are toasted...great little place, unfortunately hard to find (it took us three or four times to find it---waverly place is a funky street, among many) Go to Taim, hope they open elsewhere or expand! This is where I get my falafel addiction fix.

I have eaten the sacred falafel in the streets of Paris, Jerusalem, Los Angeles, even the East Village and alas, I have stumbled upon the perfect Falafel; introduced to me by an Israeli I knew who proclaimed that this is the best falafel she has ever had... sigh: It Is. Go Check it Out.
