This is my favourite place to eat in the city. Everything is fresh, healthy, and vegetarian. I don't know why people say that the service is slow, maybe it used to be, but I've never had that experience. This place is almost perfect, the only setback is that it is very very small - seats 4!

It's so fresh and tasty. You might wait a while since they are making your meal right there -- nothing is premade. It's the best cheap sandwich or meal.

the falafels are extremely delicious and top quality. all of the sauces that come with each dish make this choice a top pick! to my surprise, though, i've found the best french fries i've ever had here! definitely an A + pick.

So savory, so delicious (as the name suggests) and a great server. I had the traditional green falafel, made on the spot. They make them per order, so it's super fresh, hot and scrumptious. Great hummus and pickles, the fries were also amazing. A definate treasure. I will go back very soon!

I recently ate at 'Taim' and was amazed at how fresh and tasty the food was. I was very impressed that the falafel was prepared on the spot and it was sure worth the 5 minute wait to get piping hot and flavorful falafel. The hummus, tahini and salad were all amazing. The crispy, home made french fries were the best I have ever had. The service was friendly and efficient and I'm definitely coming back to 'Taim'!

This is a simple place -- they have middle eastern sandwiches (falafel and few others) and salad platters. There are a few chairs at a bar. But the food is really great. Bad hummus, tabouli and falafel are so widely available in New York that it is great to have a restaurant remind you how good these things can be. The food is really fresh with very high quality ingredients. Everything is delicious and they clearly make an effort to serve fresh, healthy food. Also, I don't get the complaints on service. I've been there a few times and the people who served me were incredibly eager to describe all of their offerings, give samples of different things and clearly care a lot about the food they are serving. It is not a restaurant, it is a small takeout place with a few chairs. I really didn't notice that anything took an unduly long time. (I did takeout or delivery.)
