Cant wait for another falafel ;-D
So savory, so delicious (as the name suggests) and a great server. I had the traditional green falafel, made on the spot. They make them per order, so it's super fresh, hot and scrumptious. Great hummus and pickles, the fries were also amazing. A definate treasure. I will go back very soon!

Amazing Falafel!
I recently ate at 'Taim' and was amazed at how fresh and tasty the food was. I was very impressed that the falafel was prepared on the spot and it was sure worth the 5 minute wait to get piping hot and flavorful falafel. The hummus, tahini and salad were all amazing. The crispy, home made french fries were the best I have ever had. The service was friendly and efficient and I'm definitely coming back to 'Taim'!

Amazing Food
This is a simple place -- they have middle eastern sandwiches (falafel and few others) and salad platters. There are a few chairs at a bar. But the food is really great. Bad hummus, tabouli and falafel are so widely available in New York that it is great to have a restaurant remind you how good these things can be. The food is really fresh with very high quality ingredients. Everything is delicious and they clearly make an effort to serve fresh, healthy food. Also, I don't get the complaints on service. I've been there a few times and the people who served me were incredibly eager to describe all of their offerings, give samples of different things and clearly care a lot about the food they are serving. It is not a restaurant, it is a small takeout place with a few chairs. I really didn't notice that anything took an unduly long time. (I did takeout or delivery.)

Fantastic!
This place was amazing! The location is beautiful, service is friendly, and food is absolutely fantastic. Everything here, from the french fries to the falafels to the salad is superb. Really, I didnt know food could taste this good. I will definitely be back again!

Great Food but Slow
My boyfriend lives on Perry just a few feet from this great little hole in the wall. We've been three times and the food is truly excellent. The hummus is the best I've ever had, the harissa is also first-rate and the pita is excellent as well. The cabbage salad is the best side of the ones i've tried, the israeli salad was the weakest. The only problem with this place is how incredibly slow the service is; I realize it is a new place and i want it to succeed, I just wish it didn't take so long to get my order.
