It used to be good
I ordered yesterday some falafel sandwiches for the first time since 1 year and what used to be really good is now very very disappointing : food was cold, the falafel was good but pita was barely raw and the vegetables were flavorless, sauce was forgotten or so discrete that I couldn't feel it.

Good Falafel
The food I've had here is good, especially the falafel. However, if you're going for takeout the place is tiny and jam packed, and the wait to get your food is long. It seems like they cater more to their deliveries than take away. Plus the guy who takes your order is very rude. This turned me off and I have returned to my old time favorite, Mamouns.

The best falafel in town
As a former employee of St Vincent hospital it was not unusual to be faced with the dilemma of finding delicious food that was quickly prepared and delivered. Taim simply fits the bill. The staff is incredibly friendly, The food is tremendously delicious, especially the harissa falafel and those absolutely fantastic fries. Hands down the best falafel i have ever had, and believe me, i have tried them in many other eateries.

Expected more - not remarkable
I was really excited to try this place when I saw their menu online, but was ultimately disappointed with my experience. The space is rather tiny and cramped, but that would have been perfectly fine if I had not felt hurried and pressured by the waitstaff to order and move on. The person that took my order was impatient and unhelpful when it came to answering my questions about the menu - I expected more amiability to someone who was there for the first time. I requested certain add-ons to my falafel sandwich that I did not received, and was left feeling unwelcome by the way in which I was interacted with. The falafel sandwich was good, although not especially better than any I've had a falafel chains. I ordered a sandwich and an ice tea for a total of $9. Pita was yummy, and the harissa falafel I requested was midly spicy and well prepared. Hummus was bland. Israeli salad was very good.

Yummm falafel...so so takeout fries
Green falafel pita is so good - even when you take away and aren't able to eat it the moment it is prepared. only prob i had was the takeout fries - heard rave reviews about them and looked forward to the experience but i was NOT a fan of the saffron aioli and the fries were just dumped in a paper bag -- the result was a REALLY greasy bag and soggy stuck-together fries that were a total bummer. i'm all for eco-friendly packaging but...yuck!

Fastest Delivery in NY
I have been to Taim a few times because the food is just so good. Tonight I ordered delivery from Taim for the first time and I swear it arrived in 10 minutes flat. Delicious as always!

really delicious
Wow the food at Taim is so good. I had the falafel sandwich with the Israeli salad. The people who worked there were very nice. I look forward to going back there
