    Don't Do it!

Pad Thai - no sauce, no veggies, barely there chicken....all noodles and peanuts! served with a lemon -- $10! Summer rolls -- so thick - if you were going to use that one then fry it! Should be the cellophane type! I have never ordered Thai food that tasted so poorly and gotten over charged for it

    Worth ever visit

Great location on Bedford Ave and the food is really good for the price. The service is very fast too!!! Every salad I've gotten has been fresh and delicious. When I'm in the mood for tasty cheap food, I go here.

    Great location, poor service

We turned up, evidently, not long before they were closing. Noticing the lack of customers, we asked if they were still serving; they said they were and seated us. They brought our check with our food and, after a few minutes, asked for us to pay. A couple minutes later they started to close everything up and turn off the lights on us. Shame, really - a waste of a prime location and good cuisine. Wish they'd not bothered serving us.

    Suprisingly good

I was very surprised after eating here. The food was decent and inexpensive. Not the best thai food I've had but for the price it is worth checking out.

    Not great

Met a friend here on a hot summer evening for a cheap bite to eat. We walked in and were greeted only by a hot blast of air - no AC - and the fans were pointed towards the ceiling. Our waitress was utterly joyless, never cracking anything resembling a smile. The food was generic Thai - gluey rice and ok basil with chicken. The duck salad was a bit wilted, and the spring rolls came with more sauce than roll. I definitely would never go back to this place.

    Good People

I got this craving for Thai food. So I go to menupages to find the number for Tai Thai, except apparently I find the Manhattan number, call and order a bunch of food for take out. Like an idiot, I walk a couple of blocks down Bedford and tell the girl at the counter that I'm here to pick up my order. She looks at me and says, "what order? did you order from the one in Manhattan?" Damn. "Don't worry," she says, "we'll call them, you order from here, and we'll make it fast." They did all of those things and the food was really excellent. And cheap. I feel that this place is really underrated for food-- try it and you'll find it compares very favorably to the more well-known spots in the area. And as far as I'm concerned, the service is great.

    Cool and Fun Thai Place

I've been to Tai Thai twice now. First time was my first day living in Brooklyn. Wasn't too happy with what I got. Was kind of eh, too sweet, not spicy enough, just kind of eh. But everything my friends got was great, so I chalked it up to a bad decision. The next time I went I had a classic Thai meal of chicken curry and I was very satisfied with the quality of food and service. And one of the great things about the place is that when the weather is warm the entire front window is open and you feel like you're sitting outside even when you're inside. The place is always packed, loud and lively and fun. The prices are reasonable and it's just a good time.
