Yummy
The hummus is amazing - add a ton of the delicious hot sauce. The schwarma is also incredible. Don't get me started on the pita, it is so soft and fresh - easily the best pita I've ever had. Yum.

The best falafel I've had in NYC.
It's hard to rate all of their food since I can't get off their falafels. They are so delicious and addicting that I usually order 2 even though I'm pretty full after one, because they taste so good. I'm a sucker for their toppings. Saurkraut, hot sauce, spicy vegetables. I met an older man there one time who had come all the way out from Crown Heights Brooklyn just to eat there. Mmmmmm.......

Awesome Food
Chickpea is easily the best fast middle eastern food. The pita is freshly made, the babbaganoush is great, and the falafel is spectacular. The only trouble I have is making the $10 minimum and getting them to deliver to my neighborhood.

The best falafel and shwarama!!!
If you don't happen to be in the Middle East, but still crave falafel or shwarama, head right over to chickpea. It puts Mahmoun's to shame. Bread is freshly baked on premises. Shwarama is marinated for 24 hours. Falafel balls prepared fresh. I discovered this place a couple months ago and can't get enough.

Delicious, authentic fresh pita heavenly
Finally a fresh, flavorful falafel, humus, scharma joint in the neighborhood! I never tasted pita bread soooo good! Thank you!

Extremely disappointed
I went to Chickpea because of the rave reviews only to find a below-average falafel shop at a busy intersection. I ordered a chicken salad $7.95. The chicken was all fat, the salad was limp, the cherry tomatoes were warm, cucumber was like cardboard - course and dry. I ended up throwing it out. What a waste of time and money.

Best Bargain in the City!
I first went into this joint, because it is in a convenient location (right next to my job). Now the food is amazing; best falafels in the entire city! And the best thing about it, is the price! Where else can you get $3.00 falafel sandwiches?? And they're damn tasty. This place has a great atmosphere, and everyone there is very friendly. The only negative is the line (which is understandable) but it only takes 3 min. at the most. Also, I've been overpriced there before, so just heads up... But I Highly reccommend this place. Go out and support Chickpea!
