Awesome tacos!
Inexpensive, tasty Mexican food. They also have beer.

Good Mexican
This place and the place directly across the street are the 2 best Mexican places in the Heights, but this one doesn't serve alcohol. What it does serve are cheap and delicious tacos and sandwiches and entrees that are always made fresh and right in front of you. The service is good and quick, but you need to know Spanish. It's a nice little place that I've been going to for years and you won't be disappointed there for a meal.

Best Mexican food in the Heights!
From a born-and-raised Californian who missed good Mexican food like I miss a sunny day at the beach, this is the best in the neighborhood. You just need to order in Spanish. It's worth the effort, though, all the time. The food beats the pinata stuffing out of the upscale Mexican joint on Ft. Wash.
