What an awesome place!
It doesn't look like much, but it has the best tacos in the city!

Cant beat the price
The price is excellent considering that its NYC. The food is pretty good although I've only had the grilled chicken special. It taste better than some of the other restaurants that cost 2-3x as much.

Not recommended
I ordered a veggie enchilada (because i saw a whole pile of raw chicken sitting out in the back) and guacamole. My enchilada had no sauce and was filled with cabbage, frozen broccoli and carrots. The guacamole was watery. The black beans were the only redeeming quality to this meal.

A great value!
Ok, it isn't authentic and it isn't gourmet, but these are the best $2 tacos I have ever eaten in NYC! It's even better after a few beers!

Not recommended
Ordered dinner from here one night and got a side order of black beans. They tasted like someone took an ashtray, dumped it in the beans and stirred them in. Will never order from here again.

Filling, tasty, economincal and quick!
I always get the steak or chicken individual fajitas, with or without guacamole..usually one with and two without....It's tasty and filling.not the greatest fajita I ever had, but, it's good enough and does the job for a tasty, quick, filling and economical meal..A great bang for your buck..You can't go wrong!!

Tasty and Good
Taco City provides great bang for the buck. Sure it isn't gourmet, but NYC already has billions of over-priced, over-hyped fluff restaurants. This is decent, cheap food for the common man.
