The delivery service at Tacu Chulo is not good. I Love burritos, and what I get here is actually not a bad price, at least compared to the rest of their somewhat overpriced menu, so I am often in the market for a Taco Chulo burrito delivery. That said, it's not unexpected to wait close to an hour for a delivery, and it should be expected that your burrito will, more often than not, have plenty of time to cool down to an unpleasant temperature. I have also had the order never show, and have had items missing from my order simply too many times. The service inside the place, as evidenced by the other reviews is not much better. On th up side, the burrito i typically get (pollo rostizado with the verde salsa) is quite good and a few dollars cheaper than the rest of the menu. If you really want a burrito and you live close by, this pace is worth it on the condition that you find something on the menu that is actually enjoyable. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

This place has service problems. I'm never going back. After waiting for 30 minutes on a round of drinks. I let the floor manager know the drinks took quite awhile. Her response "I'm not your waitress." Get it together ladies, your people skills are pathetic. My friend had to get up and find the waitress to place her order. The bartender who was so slammed was outside smoking leaving no one behind the bar. It's Williamsburg on a weekend... maybe more than one person behind the bar?

Let me say up front that my roommate and I love this place. we've been ordering from here regularly for 2 years - it's become one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. Recently they've got a woman answering the phone who, no matter how nice you try to be, is always rude and unpleasant. Though we don't want to, we are very close to giving up on this place.

I was talked into going here by people who love the original Taco Chulo and they are banned from picking restaurants for our outings again. Bland, overpriced food. Sure, the ingredients are fresh and healthy, but they don't taste any better than stuff I could get at a fast-food joint. Add an extra dollar for each ingredient you want added to bring your order up to mediocre: sour cream? jalapenos? cilantro? That'll be $3 more. It's a little like extortion, once you're faced with a whole plate of bland, Americanized food. Service was painfully slow, even when we were the only group in the restaurant. For a group of 4, 2 of our orders were screwed up. Drinks are Manhattan priced, but worthwhile. I guess if you want a sangria and some corn chips, this would be a good place to stop. As a destination stop for meals? Skip it.

These burritos are the closest thing to my home town burritos (arizona) around. Big, tasty, and heavy. I love'em. Delivery takes a while, and it's an expensive burrito (a comparable one in AZ is 2.50) but it's the best around.

you have to try it! The drinks are they only thing on the menu that can be considered expensive; the tacos are pretty darn cheap and everything else is reasonable. It's fresh and light--they dont over do it on the frying, the cheese, or the sour cream. It's not the americanized mexican with mushy beans and rice with everything; this is some good fresh tex-mex style food which you can't always find. Clean decor, generally quiet enough that you dont have to yell across the table, and friendly service. They make their margaritas with real fruit, too, not some crappy syrupy stuff. And they make a good margarita. I reccomend trying it--it might not be what you're used to in terms of mexican food but it's still good!

I really like this restaurant. we're spoiled for choice in the neighborhood - and i eat here time after time. i love the fresh food - the great sauces (they can get them hot) - you can even get cabbage and radish in your burrrrito. so many choices - all good but i go juicy.
