really good mexican food is SO hard to find in new york. everything to me tastes like tex-mex. (perhaps i am spoiled from living in LA and having authentic mexican food ONLY.) this place is awesome. great food. great brunch. (have the migas with refried beans... oh my goodness.) the key lime pie is pretty rad as well. p.s. the women who run it are amazingly kind and cool. i love me some Chulo.

this place...where do i begin? the decor is nuts, so bad...fail. the service blows...one waiter for like 20 tables? seriously dudes? the food is kinda awesome though...or maybe it just tastes awesome after waiting for like ever to eat. they got good drinks too....if u dont have to wait for em...anyway. despite bad service and ugz as fck decor...ill go back. i like tacos, such is life.

    uh, that's it?

having been told this place has "the best nachos ever" i was moved to venture into this restaurant and try them out. um, no, these are not the best nachos ever. they are bastardized and weird with all kinds of fancy sauces. do yourself a favor and just stick to the queso fundido or whatever, which is probably just rotel stirred into velveeta anyway. the burritos are small and expensive considering their size. the ingredients may be fresh but the whole experience left me displeased.

Fish Burrito is as good as it gets!

The best burrito in williamsburg. I think the food and great service is enough to make this one of the best take out places in the the neighborhood period. Top 5 for sure! The verde salsa is incredible. Excellent value and a nice atmosphere for dine in as well.

    delicious food. rude waitress.

i LOVE the food at taco chulo!! i'm so happy to have it in the neighborhood. only downside is a rude waitress who needs to chill out, but other than that it's a great place! definitely recommend it!!

So much to love about Taco Chulo

I've got to agree, I don't think people know about the brunch here or this place would be mobbed every weekend. It is so good... you will leave full and happy. It is also great for lunch or dinner, eat in or delivery.

    Best Nachos in the World!

I've never had Nachos that even come close to these incredible delicacies they have at Taco Chulo. The Nachos Classico are fantastic, with plenty of fresh pico de gallo, beans, with meat (chorizo) and guacamole... I mean I'm not a fan of the ones with cheese sauce on the nachos chulo (the sauce is great on its own but with everything else it's overkill), but I dream of the nachos classico when I sleep. It's a little diffucult to deal with, as I was never a nacho man until I tried these heavenly chips...I find myself ordering them from chulo again and again...and when I with other foods, I'm really thinking of the nachos classico.. I feel so wrong, but they are so delicious
