We had a 9pm reservation on a Wednesday night but we didn't get seated by 10pm although there were tables available. Our group took it upon ourselves to sit at one of the tables hoping we'd get served eventually. Well, a waiter finally came up and we ordered the specials (lamb chops) and seared tuna. They were delicious. The appetizers (sauteed calamari, fennel salad and white bean soup) were pretty good too. I didn't know that we had to pay for the bread that came to table. We got charged $7. We never ordered the bread. It arrived at the table so we ate it. But, alas, the $7 showed up on the bill. We didn't say anything about it but I'm just surprised we had to pay for something we never ordered. Overall, the food was really good. I'd go back.

We visited the restaurant for the first time and we enjoyed every minute of it. The food was excellent. The service was very pleasant and so was the atmosphere.

The food is excellent and the restaurant is warm and inviting. I have eaten at Taboon four times since it opened and the food is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable.
