Salads are not worthy of half their cost. Everything else is usually delicious. Only complaint is about the recently hired staff (past 2 months). The former servers were awesome. The past two times I was served by 2 of the newer male servers and had very bad experiences. Essentially, if you're not buying multiple expensive bottles of wine you are a burden and they make it clear. I hope management let's go of the subpar servers so this can return to the gem it was!

A friend who has eaten here often brought me here on a stormy rainy night. Without a reservation the hostess kindly requested other bar patrons make room for us at the bar where we ended up having a very good time and meal. The bartender who served us was a redheaded delight and throughout the meal, while still terribly busy mixing drinks and attending to others at the bar, asked us how our dishes were and accommodated our special requests. We ordered “tapas” style opting for 5 dishes rather than main courses. The three dips we tried, two of them new to me, were very good. The poached quail egg over scallops was a light delight and the mussels, which our bartender did opine can be different from chef to chef, as each adds his own touch, were delicious. I also noticed that my top shelf martini was quite large and quite reasonably priced (don’t tell them, but they could have charged much more for it). I look forward to stopping by again as it is nice to find a new restaurant in what is fast becoming a “go to” area…Hells Kitchen, even along Tenth Avenue. In the nice weather they have outdoor tables which probably helps as the place was very crowded as appears to usually be the case. Next time we’ll make reservations, but evidently, eating at the bar is a great option for those who show up without one.

Service was good, the wine was was, fish special (sea bass) was yummy but the dessert was incredible. I am trying to get the recipe. Vanilla ice cream with rice crispys, honey and pistachios. Sounds crazy but it was amazing.

Great food! The best thing in the restaurant is the focaccia at the beginning but then the food is absolutely great as well! They have a good wine list!

Went there last night for restaurant week. The food was really good. Atmosphere was nice. The service was excellent. It is a bit on the pricy side and the portions are small/moderate but if you order enough bread, it can fill you up. i do have a large appetite for being pregnant...

The food was excellent. I had the Halibut Special, wonderful. I would listen to the staff's advice, its spot on! The bartender was exceptional when explaining the menu to me as i waited for my friend to arrive. Go... and enjoy! Service was also a treat!

outstanding service, vibrant atmosphere- terrific food and a wonderful wine list- highly recommended
