Must go again!
Went there last night for restaurant week. The food was really good. Atmosphere was nice. The service was excellent. It is a bit on the pricy side and the portions are small/moderate but if you order enough bread, it can fill you up. i do have a large appetite for being pregnant...

Great food, light and airy feel
The food was excellent. I had the Halibut Special, wonderful. I would listen to the staff's advice, its spot on! The bartender was exceptional when explaining the menu to me as i waited for my friend to arrive. Go... and enjoy! Service was also a treat!

Consistently good
Consistently good experience with a variety of great appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. My only previous complaint was that they refused to filet their whole fish entrees but they now do, which is a good improvement. Their could be more vegetarian options but the vegetarian grill entree is excellent. Prices are slightly high for neighborhood. Service is consistently good and servers are knowledgable and helpful.

Fish special
I heard a lot about Taboon and decided to finally check it out. for aps we had ceviche and sea scallops along with the fresh taboon bread and hummus. the meal started very well. for mains i had the fish special which was a sushi grade tuna served with jerusalem artichoke puree. i must say it was amazing. the tuna slices were a deep purple with a thin cooked outer layer. the puree wasnt like anything ive ever tasted. my girlfriend had striped bass straight out of the skillet that it was baked in, in the taboon oven. it was in a tomato sauce with artichoke pieces and a side of homemade couscous. this couscous was so fine that it fell through the fork! our waiter paired all of this with a spanish red which was perfect. for dessert we had the chocolate mousse and silan which were both outragous. overall we had a great meal which was mostly thanks to our waiter who gave us spot on advices. will defenitly be going back!

Hmmm
Food is good but not worth the price. The best option is to sit at the bar since the bartender makes up for the excessive pricing with exceptional service. Avoid the hostess if you can...her attitude will make you lose your appetite.

what a rip off
5 small lamb meatballs for lamb kebobs? a 2x3 - 1/2 " cut and calling that halibut for 30 bucks a plate !!!! served barely warm and no sides to speak of!!! give me a break. the three of us left hungry and felt ripped off.
