    great night with friends

took two other couples to the restaurant. although we had been there before liked it better the second time. service was attentive and accomodating. we were given a nice round table which is important for a group of 6. we all loved the food and the atmosphere . the place was very busy for a sat. night in the middl.e of july and and the feeling was very upbeat. we live around the corner and will definately bd back with friends or on our own

    a new staple

A good vibe from the bar and the restaurant since they are both crowded and lively. Service was good as well as the food. Appetizers were a chopped salad and the shrimp cocktail. Both good size portions. Main courses were the chicken and the branzino grilled with olive oil. Both were tasty and made well. This is a nice neighborhood place to return to a lot.

    wonderful time!

my husband and i were looking for some where classy and fun to take our friends and we couldnt have found a better place than here! the ladies at the front door were charming and ushered us right to our cute corner table and our server was right there to offer us smiles and drinks and answer any questions we had. the food was amazing, i reccomend the crab cocktail, and my husband and i fought over the last piece of porterhouse. my friend loved her branzino which came highly reccomended by our waitress. the desserts were wonderfully decadent and large enough for all of us to share one. all in all it was a great experience and i cant wait to go back with my honey for a nice romantic dinner (and another chocolate mousse)!

    Great Place

I love the young look and I am happy Lenox is gone. Now we have more then French and Italian to present to friends out of the town. Service was great, food was perfect and rest of the tables where entertaining. It is easy to complain about anything in that place becuse it is small and hard to get the table... I love it is out of my price range but worth it.

    Not recommended

my parents took my boyfriend and i out to this new spot on a friday night-we had high hopes. the decor was pleasant-definitely trying for a hip, young atmosphere. the place was packed and very loud. definitely not a good place for a date (we had to lean in to hear each other). granted, it was packed, but the service was poor from the start. our expressionless waited never brought us the flat water i had asked for (we also ordered 2 bottles of sparkling). i ordered the blue cheese iceberg wedge salad, a steakhouse staple that should always be served with ripe beefsteak tomatoes and red onion. it was mainly lettuce with a couple red and yellow cherry tomatoes sprinkled in. we all ordered the porterhouse which arrived beyond well done. also, the place is not equipped for large sizzling plates of meat (tables are quite small). when we told the waiter we had asked for medium well, he tried to convince us that a rubber tire-like plate of meat was in fact what we had asked for. i know my meat and this without a doubt very well done. he had to call his supervisor who questioned us again until he finally offered to get us a new one (we had ordered 2 and they only offered to take one back). he returned very quickly with a medium rare porterhouse drenched in butter. good quality meat does not have to be butter coated. the meat was extremely fatty. i NEVER leave meat in my plate but after 2 bites, i had no desire to eat anymore. the sides we ordered were fries, steamed haricot verts, and macaroni and cheese. the fries were decent and you would have to try hard to ruin steamed vegetables but it should be noted that they were coated in oil. the mac and cheese was awful tiny elbow noodles simply baked with boring shredded cheese. the bread was the only redeeming aspect of the meal (that is if the waiter allows the basket to remain on your table past the appetizer - i had to tell him four times to please not take the bread away). it was a lovely olive bread perfectly baked with salt and olive oil. while most people would find this to be a negative part of the place, the people watching was quite amusing. needless to say, this perk was not enough to keep us there for dessert.

    never change a winning game...

so why they changed this restaurant blows my mind. the lenox room had great EVERYTHING. this is a hip steak joint with mediocre food in a city with much better steaks. They over-salted everything! A huge disappointment.

    sad farewell to lenox room

although it is still same owners with steak theme and good food- menu is very simple and pricey. miss some of the old touches of lenox room such as the appetizer tiers and the seafood risotto. guess restaurant did not want the kitchen challenge any more ---too bad - but still good.
