Chicken and broccoli was good and that is all that matters in life...not as spicy as I would have liked and could have used a little more brown sauce, but the portions were big for the price paid. Don't get those sesame noodles if you don't like spaghetti in sweet peanut butter sauce, because that is what it is. On the whole though, the other reviews do this place justice...good food with great portions.

I always order shrimp lomein and mix in their hot ginger sauce, as well as eggplant w/garlic sauce, yang chow FrRice is awesome as well as shredded beef. Only thing I don't like- they say "spring roll" when it's really an Egg-roll. Oh well... I still love all the rest on the menu.

My sister-in-law lived at 420 E. 79 street. She introduced us to Szechuan Kitchen when they were located further down 1st Ave. We have been taking guest there and eating their food ever since. Another favorite is the Hot Spiced Shredded Beef. They are No. 1 in Chinese food!

The night before I was born my mom ate "chef's special shrimp" from Szechuan Kitchen and 25 years later it is still my favorite dish in the world. The staff is wonderful and the food is absolutely the best.

We lived in nyc from 1978 to 1984. We have been eating at Szechuan kitchen since 1981 and no chinese restaurant comes close. Everything is delicious!! We just moved back into the city and Szechuan Kitchen is again on the top of our list!!

I just ordered from here for my first time. The chicken & peanuts is AMAZING! I really wish I gave the delivery boy a bigger tip. I ordered it and asked it to be prepared with a very little bit of oil, and it is great & spicy. I usually order from down the street but I can't wait to try a other dishes from here.
