They don't take credit cards and the food was average. The Sesame chicken was extremely bland, which is weird considering it is one of the least likely dishes to be bland.

I like the food here and is made / delivered very quickly. Dinner prices seem a little high. I suggest the lunch specials which usually go for $5 - $6. No tables to sit down and eat so plan for take out or delivery.

delicious food, freshly prepared, lightning fast delivery, very reasonable. how can anyone complain?? plus, I get the shrimp chow-fun and there is TONs of shrimp in it! almost too much! so---they are NOT skimpy.

I think the food here is delicious. Delivery is fast and the food is constantly on the mark. However, there are 2 areas where I think Szechuan Kitchen can improve to make ordering from their establishment the ultimate experience. The first is that they should offer egg rolls. There are so many times when I crave chinese food and really want an eggroll as well - and have been forced to order from another UES chinese joint to get my eggroll fix. The second room for improvement is that they should accept credit cards. Sometimes that will be the deciding factor if I don't have enough spare change lying around and usually when I am ordering in for delivery I am in no mood to run downstairs to an ATM. With these additions I think Szechuan Kitchenen would be the very best it could be.

First of all, I hate that you can only order one size of whatever dish you are having. Second, when I order shrimp fried rice and pay such a high price for it, I expect there to be more than just 2 pieces of shrimp in it. Overall, what I am saying is that this place is a rip-off and I don't plan to order from there again.

This restaurant has the most amazing boiled pork dumplings. Not sure what the secret ingredient is, but they are not to be missed. No one else does dumplings like this. Also don't miss the "Chef's Special Chicken" (a/k/a Chicken w/ Pine Nuts). Really really delicious! Their moo shu pork is excellent too. If you like that dish, be sure to try theirs. Next time you're about to order your usual beef with broccoli, try these instead!

fastest Chinese delivery around, solidly consistent and good. But prices went up, eg. Beef and broccoli is now $10.25, moo shu pork is $9.25. Lo mein starts at $7. Still an UES stalwart, though, but don't go by the prices here. Cash only.
