I joined in the chorus of love after the great bruni review, but this place is sliiiiiiippppiiiiiiiiiinnnngggg. wan, pale entrees, dishwater sauces, stale rice. sorry, i'm going back to wu liang ye. really, even slipping they're better than the average takeout joint, but why compromise with WLY close by?

Dan Dan noodles are incredible. Always a great snack if you need a little something spicy and you are in the area The spicy fish dishes are amazing. You are not going to here to eat your standard Chinese food. Go looking to explore real szechuan cuisine and you will leave very happy.

We followed the lead of previous reviewers and were delighted with fish in red chili sauce; mapo tofu; shredded chicken in garlic; and dumplings. But especially awesome was the lamb in cumin with chilis. The service was a bit abrupt, but that was offset by my friend, MK, picking up the tab! Thanks.

I was introduced to this restaurant about four months ago, and I have returned five times so far. I turned some other good friends to this place and now they too have made return trip.....without me! It is excellent. If you are a serious foodie, you owe yourself this one, especially if you like lamb. Get the cumin lamb...it's like .....heaven. Add to it the spicy bean curd with pork....divine.

Food is really authentic here and the pricing is hard to beat for midtown lunch. We love, love, love fiery spicy szechuan dishes. We totally agree on just ordering what they're best for to get the best deal! :)

This has been a consistently good place for true Szechuan and a real treat if you are into the hot stuff. However, the prices are getting out of control. Shouldn't cost this much.

There’s a reason this place is so crowded at lunchtime. Authentic food and spice level is perfect. Got there just before noon and place was filled by 12:30. Garlic spicy chicken lunch special was wonderful – just enough spice to make you sweat a little bit and the chicken was all good pieces – none were fatty or gritty like at some places. Food came out within 5 minutes of ordering it. Service wasn’t rushed even though it was crowded. I just left and am already thinking of going back tomorrow.
