    Tasty but salty

I think the appetizers are the best thing here. Order a bunch and make a meal of it. The spicy cucumber salad is out of this world. The spicy bamboo shoots also great, but prepare for your lips to go numb from the chillies. Word of warning. Don't order the smoked tofu with Asian celery unless you want to increase your blood pressure--there's enough salt in it to sustain a family of five for a couple of months.

    Excellent

Just ordered lunch delivery. Service: relatively quick. Food: out of this world. I ordered the lunch special L20 - stir fried chicken with spicy peanut. I've had a similar dish in MANY nyc Chinese joints and this was by far the best. Perfect amount of spicy, amazing amount of flavor. Reasonably priced, too. Totally, 100% recommend.

    not fresh

the oil is old, it tastes like it's re-used...the broccoli overcooked...

great to dine in, iffy with take out

Had many great dishes when dining in recently, all amazingly prepared with no complaints. however when ordering take out beware. opening up your bag when getting back to your desk may yield a surprise. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce (usually comes with a good amout of sauce), and asked for it extra spicy. When i got back to my desk and opened up my order I saw that not only was the chicken not extra spicy, but dry with NO SAUCE! I called in to complain, and all the woman could say was "bring it back to me, i want to see". Yeah, like Im going to walk back just to show her. So, long story short, check your order when you get it before departing.

    Slipping

I joined in the chorus of love after the great bruni review, but this place is sliiiiiiippppiiiiiiiiiinnnngggg. wan, pale entrees, dishwater sauces, stale rice. sorry, i'm going back to wu liang ye. really, even slipping they're better than the average takeout joint, but why compromise with WLY close by?

    Love the dan dan noodles

Dan Dan noodles are incredible. Always a great snack if you need a little something spicy and you are in the area The spicy fish dishes are amazing. You are not going to here to eat your standard Chinese food. Go looking to explore real szechuan cuisine and you will leave very happy.
