Not recommended
I was really excited to get a new Chinese restaurant around the corner. Literally 100 feet away from my door. The first time I went, I ordered spare ribs; unappetizing. But everyone deserves a second chance so I ordered in. The food was mediocre at best. Even though I swore the place off, I recently was very sick and unable to leave the house, so I called and tried to order white rice. I told them I would gladly wait until a delivery guy was available and I would overpay. After keeping my on the line for at least 6 minutes, the manager was incredibly rude, the hostess inept and they refused to bring rice 100 feet away to me. So if you’re a neighborhood person, I would NOT recommend this place because the food is subpar and because their attitude was downright offensive. They need to learn how to value their local supporters.

Smile
I love this spot from the 1st takeout order to stopping by for lunch to a sit down dinner with friends. The food is great and I like mine with a lot of heat and they hook me up . The service is top notch sometimes I'm in there once a week sometimes once a month and they have never disappointed me.

My go-to Chinese
I have been here numerous times and it never disappoints, whether before the theater or with a large group of foodies. The quality is first-rate, be it scallion pancakes or something unusual like cumin-dusted lamb.

Go elsewhere
The Hot & Sour soup was unappetizing - just salty. I like it hot so ordered Kung Po Chicken and it was full of the little peppers. While hot, the peppers were all burnt.

Excellent authentic Sichuan food
This place was recently written up by the Village Voice as one of the top 10 Chinese restaurants in NYC, and it also got a very favorable review from the NY Times. I cannot disagree. The food is very delicious and authentic Sichuan cuisine. Come here for stellar Mapo Tofu, delicate pork dumplings in a spicy vinaigrette-like sauce, and just about any spicy dish. The steamed whole fish, spicy or just with ginger and scallions, is a great option too. This is not the place to order General Tso's chicken, spare ribs, or other Chinese-American, pseudo-Cantonese dishes. One person I was with did order the chicken with broccoli, however, and I must admit it was very good for what it was. Ultimately, I would be suspicious of any negative reviews of this place on here. Everyone I have taken here (Chinese food connoisseur or not) has loved it, and it has been consistently highly rated in reviews. Delivery is also blazingly fast and highly recommended.

The Best Sichuan Food in Town!!
I grew up in Sichuan. I took my parents here once for dinner. They absolutely loved it! They said it's the best Sichuan food they've ever had in the U.S. I totally agree. The ingredients are authentic and the cooking is exellent!
