    Feel the burn

This is really excellent Szechuan food. I had the Szechuan dumplings in chili sauce and the shredded beef with cayenne peppers. Both were top-notch, nice and spicy, but still flavorful. Don't forget a Tsing Tao to wash this stuff down. As others have noted, if you order typical American-style Chinese food, you will probably be disappointed, but if you want the real deal, this place is great.

    Know what you're ordering

This place is amazing, you just have to know what you're ordering. for everyone who orders fried rice or general tso's chicken etc, it isn't their specialty since the place is a szechuan restaurant, not an american chinese place. If you know what's good there, then you will know that it's really amazing food

Just started working in the area and it's hard to find a good place to eat in general. I was in the mood for Chinese and didn't have high expectations but caved in and went here since another place read, "Grade Pending". I had the Kung Pao "Chicken". It had me wondering if it was really chicken. I'm sorry, but it did. The texture was off and it was cut as if to disguise what it really was, weird shapes. Tiny bones in places chicken shouldn't have them - cartlage attached to small "ball shaped" pieces. I paid $10.00 for white rice and sauce with occasional peanuts, garlic & ginger. Never again.

I was really excited to get a new Chinese restaurant around the corner. Literally 100 feet away from my door. The first time I went, I ordered spare ribs; unappetizing. But everyone deserves a second chance so I ordered in. The food was mediocre at best. Even though I swore the place off, I recently was very sick and unable to leave the house, so I called and tried to order white rice. I told them I would gladly wait until a delivery guy was available and I would overpay. After keeping my on the line for at least 6 minutes, the manager was incredibly rude, the hostess inept and they refused to bring rice 100 feet away to me. So if you’re a neighborhood person, I would NOT recommend this place because the food is subpar and because their attitude was downright offensive. They need to learn how to value their local supporters.

    Smile

I love this spot from the 1st takeout order to stopping by for lunch to a sit down dinner with friends. The food is great and I like mine with a lot of heat and they hook me up . The service is top notch sometimes I'm in there once a week sometimes once a month and they have never disappointed me.

    My go-to Chinese

I have been here numerous times and it never disappoints, whether before the theater or with a large group of foodies. The quality is first-rate, be it scallion pancakes or something unusual like cumin-dusted lamb.

    Go elsewhere

The Hot & Sour soup was unappetizing - just salty. I like it hot so ordered Kung Po Chicken and it was full of the little peppers. While hot, the peppers were all burnt.
