Great experience
It seems like a lot of people are not fond of the cupcakes here, which I can understand -- they're not the same style as, say, Crumbs. But I loved them; more like old-fashioned bakery pastries. My friend and I came when it wasn't too crowded, and the two servers chatted with us and were very attentive. I was a bit skeptical about drinking wine with cake, but the pairings were spot on. The prices were also reasonable. I'll be coming back here!

Disappointing cupcakes
We looked forward to trying this restaurant, spent an hour looking for it and we were so unhappy with the quality of the cupcakes. We ordered 3 different kinds and they all were too sweet, tasted more like a muffin instead of a cake. The frosting fell off the cupcakes before we got back to our hotel.

Can you act like you care....
I went to Sweet Revenge at a recommendation from a client since she passed by and have been wanting to try it out. We ordered two iced lattes and three pastries. The waitress/bartender who was working today left to go outside when we asked to place an order. I then went to ask the girls working in the back so we can place an order, and she replied, no you have to wait for her to come back. Seriously, what ever happened to customer service. When there are so many great places in NYC, customer service has always been key for me to return to a place. I would never go back.

Disappointing cupcake
Really couldn't enjoy the cakes. Very rough and coarse texture.

Totally classy night out
Went here with some friends from out of town, and it was so perfect. Really classy downtown-New-York feel to sit at their little tables with a glass of wine, candles, and cupcakes. The Pure (mexican vanilla) is definitely my favorite. Best cupcakes in the city.

Great Experience!
I thought this place was great! The wine and cupcake pairings were spot on. Sure.. there are places with better cupcakes in the city, but not many who pair them with wine and beer. Just go for the experience and take your out of towners, they will love it!
