    Not Bad

The food is usually delivered hot and tasty and rather quickly. There was one occasion where it took over an hour to get my food... I was about to fire them as the area is getting saturated with new Thai spots but thought better when the food arrived piping hot. There are certainly tons of This restaurants in the city that outpace them, but they are a great option for the new Crown Heights that is emerging.

    We love this place!

We love this place so much! Cute restaurant, you never have to wait for a seat, the service is great, and the food is delicious. Love their soups -the Coconut soup is great, as is the Lemongrass -YUM! As for entrees, I've loved everything I've gotten here -Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, veggie dishes, etc. So happy we found this place!

Tasty food & a nice space

I was thrilled to see a new Thai place open up on Franklin Ave, and Sweet Basil does not disappoint. Everything we've eaten from this restaurant has been fresh and flavorful. The pineapple fried rice is particularly good, and the "Cashew King," Pad See Eiw, and Coconut noodles are all quite tasty. I haven't tried the much maligned (on this site) pad Thai, so I can't contest the reviews on that, but every other dish we've tried has ben excellent.

    Not recommended

I wish I had listened to the reviewer that wrote how disappointing the pad Thai is. I never knew that it could be made this poorly! I'd rather get pad Thai from a fusion restaraunt.

    too bad

I was pleased to see this restaurant open. Unfortunately the food is sub-par. A thai place that can't make a decent pad thai is sad thai restaurant. I have ordered from here on 3 occasions and each time the food wasn't just bad it was awful. I looked at their menu and it says "thai fusion"? Fused with what? The menu just has standard thai dishes. I guess fused with bland, tastelessness. Super disappointed. Oh, and its not cheap.
