Ordinary, Americanized Cuisine
Not really Indian food to my taste, it is dumbed down to American palates not familiar with the real thing. Fast friendly delivery but that's about the only attraction. There are better choices for Indian cooking.

GREAT Indian food!!!!!
I blame Swagat for 1 thing, getting me addicted to Indian food. I LOVE this place! The food is always fresh, hot & delicious. And I always take out or have it delivered. The owner & managers are always friendly & welcoming. I order from there at least once or twice a week. My favorite is the Chicken Shahi Korma. And they always accommodate when I ask for it extra spicy.

Delicious food and friendly service
It's only a little neighborhood place but we love the food and the warm smiles that greet us whenever we show up! Try the mustard greens with cornbread (very authentic, a bit spicy), the cauliflower with nuts and yogurt, eggplant any style, and the most delicious, beautifully-spiced lamb chops terrific value for three double chops on a bed of onions. (For my mom, who is sensitive to ginger, they always alter the lamb chop recipe. ) Also reasonable and delicious wines - esp. that Manta Sauvignon Blanc perfect with the food! Go, relax, and enjoy!

Very pleased with the food
The atmosphere was intimate, simple, yet inviting. The service was attentive and helpful. We had the chicken makhani slightly sweet, and prepared very well. The bharta eggplant was pleasingly aromatic with ginger, garlic, tomatoes, onions, and more. The garlic nan, had chopped garlic inside and baked just right - slightly crispy yet soft on the inside. Good value and good quality. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be paying $2.95 for an additional bowl of rice, in light of the fact that many places it is inclusive or nominally charged (they did say it was due to the rising food/fuel costs). Otherwise, definitely a recommended place for single diners, couples, and small groups.

Not worth it
We ordered in and figured it was the most reasonably priced Indian food in the area... so not worth saving the extra few bucks. I didn't know people could mess up Chicken Tikka Masala. The chicken was really dry and the sauce was lacking a lot of flavor. The garlic naan was soggy. The samosa was the only redeeming part of our dinner. This has taught me that when I go Indian, I shouldn't go cheap.

The best value
Popular Indian restaurant. Lunch special is $7.95 which is the best value around. Includes salad and nan. Large choice of dishes and very friendly service.

great place!
This place is a great pick for someone just trying out Indian food for the first time. The place is small but intimate, very clean and nicely decorated. The service was great, and the food was excellent. I don't know how it would seem to someone who knows Indian cuisine well, but we found it great! We'd definitely recommend, and will definitely bring friends there. Go and enjoy!
