Suzie's is not the classiest restaurant in NYC, nor does it serve the best Chinese food. You'd have to pay $50 a plate for that. But you can get a meal for $5 that's of the size and quality of some $20 meals in Chinatown or Queens. Also, unlike a lot of other $5 restaurants, the place is sparkling clean & well decorated and the staff is great, even when you're ordering takeout.

I've been ordering from Suzy's for over a year and a half, and it is consistantly great. Here's why: 1. Great service. Friendly on the phone, friendly and Fast and Late Night delivery. 2. Yummy. Great American Chinese food, some authentic stuff on the menu if you order. 3. Secretly super veggie friendly! I love the fake duck, and the veggie general tso's chicken. Veggie hot and sour soup, and a bunch of other goodies. The deliver bubble tea! And they even gave me a little date book for Xmas!

I go to or order from Suzies at least once a week. They have great lunch specials that are definitely delicious. I mean, where else can you get a lunch with all that for $5 in the city?! The service is great too, they're very friendly and courteous.

There are hardly any other chinese restaurants in this immediate area so that this is the best of the area. Not great and a little pricey.

I don't know if these other reviewers are ringers for suzie's or if they don't eat out chinese much, or what. The best chinese food in the city, eh? This place is not nearly as good as a number of similar euqally-priced places around the city. Not to mention more expensive places... not to mention some cheap places in china town... that said, I agree that considering the competition in the area, it might be the best of the bunch--whether or not that is much of a superlative, you decide. Anyway, I think it has fine, yummy food, and nice people, and a good local spot.

Suzie's is hand's down one of the two or three best Chinese restaurants in all of New York City. Celebrities have been known to dine here, yet it still remains shamefully underrated. This Greenwich Village gem is a great choice for dining in or delivery. And considering the high quality of the food and the generous portions, the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking to take a date somewhere nice for great food and don't want to spend a fortune, Suzie's can't be beat - and you will not look like you are trying to go somewhere cheap. From the excellent frozen cocktails to the pleasant staff, Suzie's has it all.

Suzie's is amazing. I thought that all Chinese food was pretty much equal, and that my Suzie's addiction was just a habit. So I branched out and tried other restaurants in the neighborhood, and even some on Long Island, and believe it or not, Suzie's blows em away. I really didn't expect such a huge difference. But Suzie's has proved its quality to me. At this very moment I am waiting for a delivery of my lunch...mmmmmm!
