    Trendy Poor Cuts

This place, ironically, should be known for it's Incredible drinks. The sushi cuts are very small and for the price, not worth the money. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The roof deck is better than the poor architectural layout of the main floor, but it's almost impossible to get up there without reservations in advance. For quick eats: the Beef Maki; under $10. Side note: Cool-ass bathrooms downstairs.

If you can't get into Nobu....this is really close and less $$$$.

    Still the best

I don't care what anyone says - I love this place. It is like a pair of Uggs: supremely annoying until experienced firsthand and then you never want to be separated.

    Great food

I would definitely recommend this place for the food and atmosphere, but our male waiter was very unfriendly and unattentive. The food was great (esp. the calamari appetizer - YUM!), but very pricey. The specialty drinks were so-so and also pricey. Although we ate outside on the sidewalk, we had a short wait at the bar before we were seated and the inside is very trendy and looks like a lot of fun - so much so, that I could overlook the snobbiness the next time around.

One of the most fun restaurants in NYC! Omakase is a must.

    Great sushi

Sushi is not my favorite food, and this place was very expensive, but my girlfriend loved it. The food was very tasty even for a non-sushi fan. A little cramped, but very cozy and great service.
