Great Sushi!
This place is really great. Despite the lack of decor, the food makes up for it. I would recommend it if you're in the area.

great sushi for not much money
The service is fine, if a bit too relaxed at times, very informal but really friendly as well. Sushi always splendid and fresh and in rather big portions. I really like it there and have been a regular since 2003, when they were still on Seventh Ave South.

A favorite...
I first went there in 1978 or 9... (most people didn't eat sushi then, well most people were not BORN then) it was good then, it's good now... we order take out from the office a lot cause we can trust them not to dissapoint the clients.

Good Sushi, Even Better Prices
Sushi is always pretty good here. You'll be hard pressed to find prices like this in Manhattan.

Good food - Subpar Service
Very good food and value but the service was really poor. I tried this place many times. Each time I had disappointments with service.

Basic and okay
I've had the same problem as the below poster-- I was a regular for years, but the quality and preparation's dropped significantly recently. I've sadly had to cross this place off my list...
