    OVERRATED!

    Very rude servers and extremely poor service. I can get better sushi for better value elsewhere.

    amazing food - really expensive

    Sushi was awesome. Service was also excellent (opposite of what other reviewers experienced). All staff was attentive and polite. Better than most NYC lunch spots. (i left my sunglasses and the waitress ran down the street after me!) However, $103 with tip for 2 for lunch is too much. The quality was outstanding and pieces quite large (could have ordered less). We each had about 6-8 pieces and a roll. The price really hurt in this economy. If it's a special occaision, do it. (yes the decor is tacky)

    It's all good!

    Everything I ordered from here is fresh and delish. Sushi Sennin is awesome. Friendly waitress, great value, excellent food, nicely presented and lots of variety of daily fresh fish. So good that I won't even take the chance to try sushi from anywhere else.

    Mean Spirited People

    The Sushi is way above average. The Employees are very nice but the Managers here are mean spirited, I really believe they are bad people. I have never seen staff treated so badly, but the worst part is how they treat customers. You can keep your $9 pieces and fake Japanese ambiance. I'll find another place for a $50 lunch. Pure stupidity on the part of the staff.

    worst service

    I have never had an experience like this, the prices are outragous, i mean $30 roll! there was nobody in ther resturaunt and we were treated horribly, we had ordered a dish which tasted unacceptable and spoke to waiters and managers and were laughed and and forced to pay for something that was unedible, i go to great resturaunts all over new york and i have never had an experience like this! words cannot describe how unproffesional and unaccomidating this resturuant is...we opted for pizza next door after dinner that we didnt eat!

    Great Sushi Poor Service

    This is one of the best tasting sushi restaurants in NYC. But this place is filled with misers. For such an expensive place you would think they'd be a bit more flexible with delivery. Its almost like they don't want the business. The Employees seem to be trained to treat customers badly. When I dine in, I feel like I am ordering from a robot. The managers are the worst of all.

    Poor service

    I ordered in Sushi Sen-Nin about 30 times in the last 4 months. The food is excellent. I was willing to deal with the fact that when my order came out to $19.88 I had to add an item to meet their $20 delivery minimum (at first I thought they were kidding). What I am unable to deal with is the fact that they now tell me that they don't deliver orders under $30, and say that they NEVER delivered any order under $30! The woman on the phone also asked how I would know the minimums when I've only ordered twice?! I don't know what their problem is, but they better fix it fast if they don't want to close down like their uptown location ( they certainly lost my business as well as my recommendations).
