This cute little restaurant is run by a cute little Korean couple. We've only tried the Korean dishes, so can't speak for the sushi. The bi bim bap and soft tofu stew are awesome. It's like having a Korean mom cook for you. The owners are super nice and their young daughter who sometimes works there is so adorable! Don't be put off by the fact that it's located at the entrance to the subway station. The food is fresh and top quality.

Absolutely our go-to place for high quality sushi -- we usually call for pickup as we're headed home -- as they are right next to the 2/3. The husband & wife team have come to recognize our voices and always have our orders waiting for us on arrival. They have great Bi-Bim-Bop and are the only place in BH that serve Korean dishes.

Anyone criticizing Sushi Gallery in the Clark Street station couldn't be more wrong. Perhaps they visited it years ago before the current owners took it over. It's run by a lovely Korean family, so you'll find a handful of excellent Korean dishes to enjoy on the menu as well. The sushi is always fresh, and you can pick up a pre-set pack made daily. I cannot vouch for the freshness of any of the other sushi places in Brooklyn Heights, and I've been to them all on many occasions over the dozen years I've lived here. I still go to them to check out if they've improved or not, but Sushi Gallery is still the best. Some people believe that, for sushi to be good, it has to be served in a trendy looking place that you need a reservation for. They really haven't developed the palate' to know really fresh fish when they taste it. That's why some folks might be fooled by the nifty decor at Iron Chef House, where I used to go regularly until I was served tuna that had clearly gone off- that should never happen. Sushi Gallery is small and unglamorous, but it has a charm all its own and is perfect for people watching.

This was our first time here but had to try it once we saw all the reviews and the fact that this place has Japanese & Korean options. My husband loves sushi rolls, where I'm more of a chicken and rice kind of girl. My husband loved the Alaska rolls and thought it was a good value that they gave 8 pieces for only $4.95. I got the Jap Chae Platter and it was delish! The portion was good (took 1/2 home) and it came with a very yummy miso soup (I usually hate miso soup). Next time I may try the bulgogi or the bim bom bap...looovvvee Korean food and I could tell this chef knows how to cook it! The place is very small but it's perfect for a stress free, inexpensive night out. We will definitely be back for more. Oh and the $6 Nigori saki was delish too. If you're reading this...just try this place out. You won't regret it.

I agree Sushi Gallery salad dressing is the best! They also have a great miso soup and the fish is always fresh and delicious!

Their salad (the dressing especially) is to die for! There is no doubt that the food is clean because the food is made literally right in front of you! It's a great place to eat and quiet enough so that reading a book is not a problem.

The atmosphere is amazing here. The decorations are always beautiful and the food is delicious. I asked the restaurant to cater and they did a wonderful job. The presentation and service was great!
