Fresh and delicious in traditional japanese style. Service was excellent too.

Fresh, and good! It feels so nice to hear "Irasshai-mase!" from all the sushi shefs there. Keep it up guys!

It was Saturday night at 8:30PM and we made a reservation that day. There was no mention that they had run out of fish. We arrive...still no mention at the host stand that they only have tuna and salmon left. We sit at the bar thinking we'd be given piece after piece of the chef's omakase like at every other famed sushi house in the city. The guy who's cutting our fish says to us, "we don't have much fish so what you want, huh?" I wouldn't have been so upset if he kindly told us that they had run out of most fish but would be happy to recommend some hot foods from the kitchen or some rolls. He just stands there looking at us as if we had 2 heads. The only reason i give it a 1 for food is because the sake was half decent. Even that was soooo overpriced. Check out their sake menu. It goes from $20 hot sake to $60, $100, and $200 cold sakes. Nothing in between. The menu is engineered to empty your wallet. And I would be more than happy to pay up if the food and service was good.

They adhere to tradition and the Edo-Mae way of sushi. I enjoyed the chef's Omakase course very much the other night. You must order the Torched Fatty Tuna nigiri. You will not forget the experience for a long time. Umai!
