Go Surfing Elsewhere
As others have written, the service is very slow (they aren't kidding!) and the food is bland, small and overpriced. For example, shrimp tacos were three thin lukewarm tortillas with a smear of guac and a couple diced shrimp pieces, couple diced tomatoes and a few wilted strands of iceberg lettuce in each. You hardly knew there were any fillings. A fish entree was begging for seasoning and the rice and beans could wallpaper a house. A $5 bowl of chips and salsa had about 15-20 chips and at most 2 tablespoons of bottled salsa. Drinks arrived midway through the meal because they were short staffed and trying to make dozens of frozen drinks to accommodate the crowds. This place has sooooo much potential to be a hit in the good weather, but as many reviewers note, this surf is a mess. Poor food and poor service for too much money...echoed by several other reviewers here. Guess the locals like that formula. Let them have it.

Good food but small serving
Place was nice dark and intimate with sand on the floor it is very different atmosphere. Great food but only enough if you are on a diet but with full price. Service was good overall. Lobster roll is tasty but def not a meAl for the 15 dollars

Must do!
I had a very great time over there. Soup are tasty, Bread pie with crabs delicious and ths sauce that comes with mussels and clams was perfectly spicy. I am Sardinian, so when I say that seafood is good I know what I am talking about. Plus, weitress were extremely friendly and cheerful. Wine remained the major disappointing issue, being available only 3 diffent kind of red and three white.

Disappointing
Prices are too high. Food sucks. Drinks are good. You're essentially paying for the atmosphere. Might as well go to the Coney Island instead, which is what me & my friend did.

Best fish and chips
I loved the fish and chips there. I can't comment on any other food, since that's all I have when I go there.

Not Good
Don't kid yourself, there may be an alright burger, but its not worth enduring the patronizing snarls of the rank hipsters that run this joint. I suppose its now day trippers from Jersey that are keeping this place open, because once you get ripped off and insulted by the prices once, most locals wont return. Unfortunatley I have given this place a couple of shots, all of these experiences left me postitively ANGRY (not the emotion I want with a meal)... with service so bad its like a Jerry Lewis movie, ridiculously measly overpriced portions of seafood, and as for the chowder, which I had been told to "give it a chance".... I got the crab and corn and it was basically a few potatoes and some corn swimming in milk. The crab seemed missing in action. I could picture the chef laughing at me from the kitchen for ordering this expensive garbage. What a waste of a cute venue.

Horrible Service
The service here is horrible. Nobody there but you wait forever for them to take your order and serve you. Almost a half hour just for fries and that was only served after we asked the waitress when they would be served. Staff is not friendly at all look like they're bored. Drinks are heavily iced too so you pay $10 for a drink loaded with more ice than normal.
