Disappointing Korean Food
I do not normally write a review, but can't help this time. It's just the worst Korean food I have ever tried in New York City for last 3years...the worst kimchi I have ever tried in my life... Domi Mawoontang was like daegu yangpa tang....for $19?? It's too bad that I can not give a good rate for the Korean restaurant..But one thing I can give it a credit for is that I did not taste M.S.G...

Great Place
Really tasty food especially the stone bowl bibimbop and stews. Quiet and not very crowded but a nice atmosphere and very friendly service.

Pleasant surprise
The staff were extremely helpful and kind. They even gave us two complimentary appetizers which were both great. The main course was delicious! worth a visit

Miss the old Sura
Since I lived around the corner, I started going to Sura right after it opened, and it was always a pleasant surprise. Excellent service and a very soothing atmosphere in this beautifully designed gem of a space are still A+++. There is a new menu. The food quality is not what it used to be and prices are higher. I would prefer if they offered fewer dishes and if these were of superb quality. I miss the old Sura. I am sad to admit that I won't rush back.

Great Koren Food
I went this afternoon to Sura and couldn't have been more pleased. Having never tried Korean food, I didn't know what to expect but it was both delicious and very filling. Everyone in my group ordered the Stone Bowl Bimibop which consists of rice, meat of choice, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, and topped with an egg yolk. Since the bowl is incredibly hot, it further cooks the rice mixture as you eat giving the rice a nice crunchy texture if you let it sit for a while. Aside from the large sized main courses, Sura also serves complimentary zucchini and potato pancakes and Kimchi along with a Korean take on Miso Soup. I highly recommend Sura as it's a nice change from the typical lunch or dinner, well at least mine!

Hidden Gem
Sura was a very pleasant surprise for dinner on a Saturday. Their food is very gourmet with delightful surprises in each dish. You get what you order and then some. This has turned into my favorite Korean restaurant in the city. It might not be 100% authentic but what it lacks in authenticity it gains in delicious variation. Also, not having to wait on a Saturday night for such a delish dinner made it ninety times better.

Great food
Sura is not a Korea Town restaurant. They don't give you a table full of sides. But the food is incredible- very fresh, always beautifully prepared and reasonably priced. The lunch special is a great deal as well!
