I've been in New York City for a little over a year and I've been to many Thai restaurants. Sura Thai Kitchen definitely worth your money and taste buds. Just the right ambiance and music, good and friendly service. I go here all the time.

We have been to Sura for dinner twice and have had excellent experiences both times. The food is great, more creative than you might expect, and the service is very friendly. For us, it's a great spot for a casual weeknight dinner.

Idid, and waited 25 minutes for a table anyway. Maybe better food would have made me think it was worthwhile, but that definitely wasn't the case

elivery person arrived and pressed and held the buzzer down for like 30 seconds. (Those of you who live in apartments with buzzers know how annoying this is.) I pick up the phone and say hello. No answer. I hang up. He then presses it again for the same long period of time and i say hello again, louder. no answer. I walk all the way down and he is standing there with headphones in. I open the door and he extends his arm with the bag of food and turns back in the other direction basically just throwing it at me. and btw, the headphone thing was done on purpose because i live on the 5th floor and he didn't want to walk up. Food was nothing special, so I will probably never order again because of this delivery experience.

I have been going to Sura many many times. It is simply the best Thai restaurant in Manhattan. The Thai basil Sunny side up egg with chicken is incredible. The food is authentic and always well made. They serve everything from your standard dishes with the real ingredients to unique, truly local Thai dishes.
