    consistent

Supper is by far the most consistent restaurant downtown. The food is always fresh and the service is great. Brunch is amazing! The only suggestion I have is to go on off hours. My friends and I have been going here for years, every Sunday and usually once a week. I have never had a bad meal.

    Great Food, Inconsistent Service

Have been going to Supper for a while and the food is great nearly every time. Waiters are great usually. I have to agree with Amy on 12/09/2007, there a couple of hosts/hostesses here and there is one who gives off a very unfriendly vibe every time and doesn't know how to smile or offer simple greetings.

    Good food, terrible service

Star struck to bitter end. The atttitude is not good in this place. One of those retaraunts that could be totally empty and they'll still make you wait twenty minutes for a table. Still..the food is good. The attitude thing can be referred to in New York City as "Kim's Video Effect" or "too cool for school".

One of the best restaurants in NYC

The food and service for the price is unbeatable. Although you can't make reservations and the restaurant is cash only, the food is well worth it. The restaurant consistently delivers excellent food and service with a cozy and warm atmosphere. The minestrone soup is very refreshing and fragrant while the veal is perfectly tenderized and breaded. Even the vegetable platter was grilled and seasoned to perfection. Perfect venue for a date or an intimate gathering with only your best friends (since they're the ones that deserve good food).

    Excellent food but....

I have been to Supper over a dozen times and it is consistently good food however the host is consistently rude. Go there if you want a good meal but be prepared to deal with some serious attitude.

    delicious

Probably the best food I've ever had in my 2 1/2 years living on the L.E.S. The specials are always mind-blowingly good. Anything based on steak, veal, or pork is phenominal. Even the bread and white bean spread is better than most entrees in the neighborhood. It's worth the 90 minute wait on weekend nights!

    omg

This place was absolutely wonderful. The menu-- extensive. My food was AMAZING. No complaints on the service either. It was the best date I've had in a while.
