Fair diner fare
Quick and convenient, but food was only fair. Burger was not cooked to order.

The Sunflower Rules
I've lived around the corner for years. Every time my college-student daughter and her friends come for the weekend they ask, as they have for years; "can we get breakfast at The Sunflower?" All my friends who come from out of town like this place, the quinessential NYC neighborhood diner.

Great Delivery!
I've never ordered breakfast so I cannot speak to the last reviewers note, but Sunflower has always been good to me. They've never messed up my order and I really like their greek salads and their turkey burgers. Delivery is VERY fast.

never again
I've gone to this place ordered from this place...just for convenience. Almost every time its subpar. Just ordered from here, bacon egg and cheese on a rollthe roll seemed stale, the bacon was all fat, the egg was an egg but really how do you mess up an egg. The home fries were all potato and had very little flavor. The problem with this place is that I could make this stuff way better and for way less $$$. I shant eat from here again.

best in the area
living around 26th there are a few diners like cosmo's, lyric, sunflower, and one or two more. this has easily the best food, similar prices, and the best service. the only thing is it's not open 24 hrs. so if its not 4am, and i want diner food, i go here.

Best dinner in NYC
This is by far the ebst dinner in New York. I tried every place in the area and had settled on the overpriced slightly above average Moonstruck until I tried Sunflower. Delivery is always lightening fast and I have ordered from here many, many time without anything being wrong, which these days is a real accomplishment. Salads are good, burgers aren't the best I've had, but good for a dinner. Their breakfasts are amazing and somehow they pack up everything for delivery in just the right way so everything is hot if it should be, cold if it shouold be, etc....try the chicken slouvaki or the turkey burger.

Great diner
The food is classic diner the menu includes the whole laundry list of favorites prepared fast. They are always happy to substitute and accomodate your preferences. The delivery is great they package everything up just right (the fries have a special pouch that doesn't let them get soggy!) Deliver is quick... prices are great.
