Good Cafe
Wide range of food here. Inexpensive. The dessert selection is not that big though. Good place to have brunch though not spectacular. It has gotten very busy lately so it's been hard to find a seat. There is outdoor seating as well. Not good for big groups.

Do not order in from here
Just recently ordered and was very dissapointed. The food was poor. Our soup had shells in it. Our veggie burgers did not taste good. The staff was not helpful and was actually rude when we called up to complain.

Subpar drip coffee
I can't speak to their espresso, but the drip coffee was subpar. Watered down and tasted poor, a cup of Dunkin' Donuts would have been far better by comparison. Sorry but from someone who knows what a real cup of coffee should taste like, this is not it.

Craving it
So i moved to Los Angeles recently (after 8 years living on 12th street btw 4th and Broadway, next to the strand ... it feels good to say that). And after being here for 6 months (which feels like a lifetime) I've been out to a local tavern and I'm home and I'm famished as a beverage tends to make you, and I'm simply craiving, just CRAVING their eggs benedict, a strawberries and bananna smoothie, oh yes and of course, a giant delicicios tomatoe soup.. alll for i dont know, $8.oo I MISS YOU SUNBURST xoxo La is just OK

Finally a great muffin and coffee place
After living on UES, where cute little non-chain coffee places are a dime a dozen, I was at a loss here in Gramercy Park when I moved downtown. Finally, I found Sunburst. Coffee is strong, rich, and delicious...YUMMY muffins- fat free oatbran types are fabulous, their homemade desserts and great too, AND LOWFAT! (but you'd never know.) Highly recommend

Lots of Food....Little $$$
We went extra far to see this little gem we found on mypoints. It is a little place with dark wood and celestial atmosphere. The $3.50 two egg breakfast had 3 slices of bacon, a large slice of whole grain bread toasted, and chunk style home fried potatoes (that were seasoned fab). The $2.00 xtra large coffee was in a cup I could have swum in, and my daughter's latte was creamy and foamy. The baked goods were too gorgeous to pass up. We chose to share a fruit cobbler....they bake them in their own little dish. The fruit was delicious, not too sweet. We took leftovers! A great find if you get to go there.
