I've been here a handful of times and each time the "charm" (aka disorganization) of this place wears off. The service is terrible - so slow, completely inattentive. It seems like the people who worked here never worked in a restaurant before and dont have common sense about how to treat customers. It doesnt help that the food takes forever to come out. I've waited, on average, 40 minutes to get my food every time I'm there. And we're talking about raw food that should be flying out of the kitchen. The atmosphere is also subpar. There are all of these huge tables when most people eating there are singles or couples. Today alone I watched 15 people come in over the course of my 1.5 hours there and leave because - even though there were enough empty seats to eat each group - there were never enough seats together. It's so amateurish and could be so much better if someone who had run a restaurant before actually worked there. The food is great and it's such a shame that you can never really enjoy it because of the bad service and distracting atmosphere. I really hope this place gets it together!

You can tell there is a ton of love in this food and restaurant. I think it's so important to support chefs and owners who step outside the box and supply healthy food that is delicious. Yes it's a little more expensive- but paying a little more for quality vs. less for pesticides, herbicides and being sick really is a great deal. Plus this food is tasty! Thanks for bringing healthy goodness to my neighborhood.

I love everything about this place... I eat here 2 to 3x a week... It's just amazing... The carrot cake muffin to die for... I love the Raw hummus platter as well as any of the regular menu items wrapped in collard greens...

Even though this place is new, I'm already sick of it. I've eaten here at least a dozen times. I will give the food thumbs up for being healthy and creative. I have mixed feelings about the service. They are overly friendly when you walk and and order, enough that I've not gone there a couple of days because I didn't want to hear the syrupy sweet friendliness. But then they are slow and unattentive once you order and pay. I'm not a cheapskate, but I think the prices are way too high on certain things.

The basic dish here is $8.75. I bought a lemonade with it and my total bill was almost $15. So now I just go for food and don't buy a drink. The staff is very friendly, but you do question their genuineness. I haven't been disappointed with the food at all.

The food at SIB is very good, but it's the service that really shines. It might seem like the staff are artificially friendly at first, but by the time you're finished you realize that they're genuinely warm and engaging people who care about superior customer service. The only downside to SIB is price. If you buy any drinks to go with your meal, you can very quickly run up a +$20 bill for what you thought was a quick bite.

This hot spot in Park Slope is super cute. The staff is friendly, the vibe is chill, and the food is ridiculously delicious and good for you. I would hit up Sun In Bloom for brunch, a snack, or just to walk in and walk out with an easy lunch/ dinner. I'm thinking about what to eat the next time I'm in the 'hood. Yum!
