Great quality food/that is, if one could see the food

Everything about this place is pretty much amazing. I wish I lived closer. However, my friend and I thought that the portions were highly ungenerous and way over priced for what one receives. That's it folks. !

not living up to its potential!

ate in this charming little café for the first time and could not agree more with one of the first reviewers on this site. the food was outstanding. lots of interesting choices and great flavors, but the service was amazingly poor! i finally stood up to go to the register to pay my server who was engrossed in conversation with a pal.

    I Love This Place

We ate here today and honestly I am so happy we decided to try it. We live about 45 min away and so it was a bit of a hike...but it looks like we're hooked. :) and will be coming once a week for a visit :) We had the rosemary mustard kale chips...seriously...genius. Who knew kale could be this tasty? It was a little hullabaloo in my mouth!! Then the tempeh reuben and the brown rice veggie wrap with nori and miso dipping sauce. Both extremely delicious and filling but not overly so in a heavy way. Perfectly hit the spot. Also the strawberry goji lassi and a coffee. Delish! Everything was absolutely delicious. My husband is a meat eater (familiar with a ton of veggie food bc of me) and loved the meal. He's a tough critic and picky eater too. We finished it by taking to go a peanut butter cupcake and a container of the kale chips which I happen to be snacking on now. (The cupcakes are freakin amazing by the way.) Very nice relaxing and clean atmosphere. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and informative and have a great sense of humor as well. :) I have absolutely no complaints. This is honestly one of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. I really hope they stick around forever!! :) The owner of this place really knows what they are doing. :)) We will be back very soon. I am so happy to have found another truly delicious veggie restaurant....... where everything is on point!!

    Good Food but Overpriced

Althought the food is quite tasty and the service is okay, the "take out" sandwiches in the refrigerator are overly skimpy. I believe that a sandwich that costs over 9.00 should be generously filled. Also, some of the other items in the frig are also overpriced.

    Such a special place!

Everything I've had (and I've most of the things on their menu) has been delicious, lovingly prepared, clean, healthful and an excellent value for the money. I wished I lived closer so I could eat here everyday! The owner is a peach, too!

    Great Food, Poor Service

I've been here a handful of times and each time the "charm" (aka disorganization) of this place wears off. The service is terrible - so slow, completely inattentive. It seems like the people who worked here never worked in a restaurant before and dont have common sense about how to treat customers. It doesnt help that the food takes forever to come out. I've waited, on average, 40 minutes to get my food every time I'm there. And we're talking about raw food that should be flying out of the kitchen. The atmosphere is also subpar. There are all of these huge tables when most people eating there are singles or couples. Today alone I watched 15 people come in over the course of my 1.5 hours there and leave because - even though there were enough empty seats to eat each group - there were never enough seats together. It's so amateurish and could be so much better if someone who had run a restaurant before actually worked there. The food is great and it's such a shame that you can never really enjoy it because of the bad service and distracting atmosphere. I really hope this place gets it together!

    Support good for you food!

You can tell there is a ton of love in this food and restaurant. I think it's so important to support chefs and owners who step outside the box and supply healthy food that is delicious. Yes it's a little more expensive- but paying a little more for quality vs. less for pesticides, herbicides and being sick really is a great deal. Plus this food is tasty! Thanks for bringing healthy goodness to my neighborhood.
