Reliable sushi in an underserved area

so disappointing
just ordered few rolls and katsu- don, and they were so disappointing. Would never ever choose here again.

UWS sushi find!
If you are walking too fast you could miss Suma. Located on Amsterdam Ave. in a space nestled between 2 other restaurants. The food is fresh and well prepared. I love Agedashi Tofu and have found few that can prepare it to my liking. The service is not bad. However, it could be tweaked just a bit. The ambience is clean, simple and appropriate for the space that Suma occupies. I eat here several times a week or have it delivered. There are not many sushi restaurants on the UWS that give you a good bang for your buck! Suma does!!!

Love it!
I order from Suma all the time and have always enjoyed my meal. There are many sushi restaurants in the area, but this is one of the few I will order from.

Never again
Sashimi lunch not fresh, pieces of fish gristley and tough, miso soup lacking any flavor, and the soy sauce spilled all over everything in the bag.

Would recommend
Have ordered for delivery from here a couple of times. Found the quality to be very good, the fish was fresh and the prices were good. The lunch specials were also quite good. I would definitely recommend it.

Best Sushi Delivery on CU area
Always prompt delivery, good servive and high quality Sushi for reasonnable prices. Doesn't disappoint. I love them as always.
