    Bah!

Food was bland and overpriced! Do not try the homemade corned beef has for brunch! Practically inedible! Best thing we had was the free bed covered in dulce de leche.

    Peasant chicken to die for

Sullivan Bistro offers a wide variety of French dishes. It's also a nicely designed restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is pretty good. We tried a dish called Peasant Chicken and it's awesome. Multiple trips have been made to the restaurant just for this particular dish. Definitely worth the visit!

    An Ecclectic Restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised to have discovered this cozy restaurant in the Greenwich Village area. I frequently dine out in NYC, and rarely find a restaurant which meets all of my strict criteria. Well, Sullivans is definitely my "new," favorite spot to dine. The staff were very accomodating, polite, and well presented. Also, the food was to die for! I had a wonderful and filling dinner which consisted of jumbo breaded shrimps, and also a skirt steak. These were the specials for the evening. Sullivan's wine list was extensive, but the waitress helped me decide just the right one I felt so much in the holiday spirit with the beautifully decorated Christmas wreaths, hanging ceiling ornaments, and the white garland which was drapped around the kitchen area. When I enter into any restaurant, I automatically make a judgement based on the cleanliness of the bathroom. It was spotless, and also the open kitchem allowed its' customers to see how organized, meticulous, and clean the chefs work Without any reservations, I would recommend this restaurant to my family, friends, and anyone else who is looking for an ecclectic menu, total cleanliness, and a warm, friendly, and charming restaurant staff I would also like to mention that the price range within Sullivan's is quite reasonable; especially considering the very large plates of food served. Enjoy this restaurant

    Good food, good Service

Loved it, nice outdoor seating, excellant dinner. Lamb with potato gratin was yummy, as was their special Smoked salmon with arugula salad. Nice wine list, good choices by the glass. Would def recommend, and will be back

No wonder why It's always empty !

Ok. I was wondering why Sullivan Bistro was the only restaurant always empty in the neighbourghood. So I tried... And immediately understood why. The food was pretty bad and the staff was EXTREMELY unpleasant.

these are a few of my favorite things

... I simply remember to whisk myself away on Sunday morn to Sullivan Diner.... and then I don't feel so bad. And as far as I'm concerned, all Sundays should start with an extra spicy bloody mary. Another favorite thing is the omelets. Often omelets can be dry and boring, and frankly, bouncy- right?! They wiggle and jiggle like a piece of rubber. Well, these don't! They're fluffy!.. and soft.. and filled with fresh veg or pesto... ou comme tu veux. There's a French twist here, another favorite thing! An American diner with a little French peck on the cheek.
