Waste of time
Needed to kill a sweet craving last night after a show at the Mercury Lounge. 24/7 bakery? Why not? Three good reasons: Stale pastries, very high prices for said stale pastries, rude waitstaff! I left the place mentally kicking myself for actually giving them business. Will not be visiting Sugar Cafe again.

Hype and no backup
I had a craving for cupcakes. Went to Sugar. Got the cupcakes and what a disappointment. I tried the carrot and red velvet. No taste or flavor. Was like cardboard. Eich! The service was good. So was the gelato. Also bought some cookies and those were a disappointment as well.

Overrated
Since everyone I know is always talking about how the LOVE sugar I thought I'd give it a try I call for a delivery and the girl on the phone was SUPER rude and told me they had a 10 block radius for deliveries and my apartment was only 5 ... After I corrected her she had an attitude and the guy "got lost" and brought my order an hour later.. The wings w/ fries were pretty good a little pricey though and by the time I got it it was all soggy... But I thought I'd give it another try and went personally to buy some pastries, the service was hORRIBLE those workers need some serious attitude adjustments but I got sone cupcakes and rugalos which were pretty sugary and pricey..... If you ask me this place is just at a good location and opened 24 hours so that's why everyone eats there cuz it's totally overrated

fresh and delicious foodd!!!
i always get delivery and the food come with no mistakes. the breakfast is to die for, the fruit is fressssh and the pancakes are yummy. I will recommend them to everyone , i have become addicted to Sugarsss!!!! I loveee it

Food pretty good,delivery fast,girl on phone.. eh.
I have ordered from this place well over 50 times..The food is always pretty good,open late,delivery is usually fast..but for some reason the people on the phone are usually not very friendly

disappointing
It took 30 minutes for them to bring a grilled cheese sandwich, and when it came it was dripping with oil and rubbery cheese and they forgot the rest of my order.
