...wonder if the owner knows...
A very inviting restaurant with a friendly hostess. Surprised that two items from their not very extensive menu were already gone by 9:00 pm. Interesting food served by an indifferent waiter. When asked if their excellent, if expensive sangria could be served in a sangria-style pitcher we were informed that "We have no carafes", a sentence interrupted by a bus person pouring our water from a large carafe. Naturally, he brought the check before I asked for it. Wish I wanted to go back again.

Not a taco, but si Senor & Senora
Sue does it right. The ingredients can all be tasted & our friend who recommended Suenos was right, it was terrific. Be forewarned the size of the dishes are bigger than they look. Order judiciously, we were stuffed, but I do have to say that they sent out a banana empanada to celebrate their one year anniversary with fresh wipped cream & chocolate....we couldn't resist. By the way, the bartender was great...not a namby-pamby Margarita, but one that was full size & real good with the "real deal" fixin's. Go & taste the Guacamole that is made fresh in the corner of the dining room with the sun dried soft tortillas. The rock garden & architecture is also a plus.

Dinner Menu
I ate here last week for dinner. I had eaten here a few times several months ago and the menu changed. In my opinion the best item were taken off the menu and there were just not enough choices. The quesadillas and empanadas, as well as the chilaquiles, carnitas and encliladas were not on the new menu. These were our favorite items. We ordered the Chili tasting menu, which was OK, but definitely not enough food. It also did not give us the opportunity to sample the great tortillas which are hand-made fresh in the dining room. We have followed Sue Torres from Hell's kitchen and Rocking Horse and greatly enjoy her food. I just hope she puts her some of her best dishes (in my opinion) back on the menu. She is a gifted chef. <i>[Moderators Note: The menu has been updated]<i>
