Definitely Would Go Back
I was hosted to a dinner there for Father's Day by my daughter. I chose the place based on a Food Channel episode where Chef Sue Torres was show cased. A comfortable atmoshpere and a great cocktail menu began the evening, however the price range of $11-14 for a drink was bit steep. Wine prices were more modest. Appetizers and entrees were wonderful with exception of the fish taco special entre. The fish smelled kind of fishy but our waitress gladly removed the charge from our bill. Portions were right sized for those who do not want to feel bloated leaving the table. Would defintely go back and perhaps sample a number of the appetizers instead of ordering an entre.

Guacomole $21, ridiculous!
I've eaten at Suenos many times throughout the years and always had a pleasant experience. When I received our bill last night (celebrating a birthday) the $21 guacomole charge caught my eye. When I asked our waiter why the high charge he informed me it was because we ALL wanted it. What? I remember the waiter taking our order and when I said to our party "how about some guacomole?" the waiter made it a point to look at the other two in my party to see if they nodded their head or said yes and charged $7 per person for the guacomole. So, be forwarned when ordering guac, you may have a charge of $42 for a party of 6 just for guac!

Careful when making a reservation
Suenos is great at taking reservations and even confirming them (twice), but honoring them is a whole different story. If you have an important dinner or party I would avoid this place like the plague or you may get a last minute phone call saying "oops, we're really sorry but..."

Love it!
I don't care paying what we paid. The food is SO good. I tried a bite of my husband's choice and my mother in law choice and their desserts and i loved EVERYTHING.

Too much salt!
I went to Suenos January 8th, 2010. I was looking forward to a delicious meal. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The meal was so heavily salted that I could not enjoy myself. I have no idea if the chef/ owner was actually in the kitchen that night , if not, then she is not being represented well. I will n0t go back for fear of having a stroke. My friend's food was also too salty as were our appetizers. Too bad. The food looked great and we got our money's worth.

Great food- can't wait to go back
No reservation, but no wait. Small and windowless, but it is designed in a way that makes it not feel cramped. The food is incredible (sea scallop special was perfect) and the service was very friendly and attentive. The warm cornbread with bean dipping sauce that each table gets "from the chef" was a nice touch and realy delicious. I will definitely go back again and again.

Yummm...Chili Tasting
We had sooo much fun with the tasting menu. Each course was quality ingredients and full of flavor! The portion sizes were actually more than what we're used to for a tasting menu...well worth the money. Our favorites Coconut-Habanero Shrimp Panucho, Plantain-Crusted halibut & Chxn Enchilada just melts in your mouth! Also very impressed with tequila selection (gotta try the Silver Dreams :) and pretty space. We'll definitely come back!
