Bare Burger
I order a cheeseburger and they ask "do you want fries" I would have specified that if I did. Instead, I wish they asked if I wanted lettuce and tomato in the darn burger, at least that would have gave the dry piece of glob some life. I assumed, they would instinctively add the much needed vegetables. A bun, meat and cheese for $5.00? Not worth it at all. This makes me remember how much I hate this place and why this is only my second visit during my four years at Columbia University.

Questionable
Choose warily when ordering as the smallest error can cost you double. Despite the next door bakery, still serving bone dry cakes and pastries that should have been pulled a week earlier. For folks serving the medical staff and patients (a captive audience) on Amsterdam, they might show a little more care in both price, quality, and service. In the check out line, hands are thrust out for cash, only to return miscalculated change. Affter a poor quality meal with an inexplicable price (no way to know without asking) i've had my last. After all, look how few Columbia students or faculty eat there - i guess they're smarter than we mds. a truly shamefull New York establishment.

New and Improved
I was never really a big fan of this place but after the renovation I've been coming everyday for lunch. Their fresh fruit is really good as are their salads. They also have skin balance water which is nearly impossible to find. I've never tried their pizza or sandwiches but they smell amazing while I'm checking out...

Fantabulous
Strokos is great. I just moved into the neighborhood, and I live off of their food on the weekends. Reasonably friendly staff, wonderful fresh cut fruit cups, and very fresh, cheap (for the city) salad bar. Want a sandwich? You've got it there. Want pizza? You've got it there. Want yogurt or even rice pudding? You've got it there. I think it's awesome.

Good Stuff
As a Columbia student I frequent strokos regularly. The thing I like about this place is the variety, though I tend to order the chicken gyro platter or cheese fries. Overall its pretty good and they provide quick deliveries.
