ehh...not so much
Went there on a Sunday evening with a group of 6. Place was almost empty. Hostess was pleasant but wait staff was slow. In fact, I had to walk to them and order as they were corraling by the water cooler discussing the latest episode of Top Chef. Either way, tapas was ok - at best and wine menu was not extensive. In fact, for such a small menu, they couldn't even get the spelling of their selection right. It's "Fiddlestix" not "Fiddlesticks"

Pretentious, rude
We visited a completely EMPTY bar at 4:15 PM, hoping to try a number of menu items that looked interesting. When told chefs won't be in for half an hour, we went in for a drink to wait. Lovely loungey area with beautifully appointed bar. I went to take a picture when the host jumped in front of me rather imposingly to inform me pictures of the bar were not permitted. I was quite put off and contemplated leaving on the spot but stayed to get a feel for the place. The "bar" is no more exceptional that many others all the world over. A keepsake picture of our visit? Come on. Get real. Ruined the whole experience, quite like many other reviewers warned us. And, once seated you lose any outdoor "view". $15 drinks, fresh ingredients, worthy for the location, IF customer service was top notch. Sadly, it wasn't. Go next door to the Mandarin Oriental 35th floor lobby lounge or Mo bar instead. They have a way better view and make you feel welcome and appreciated.

Tapas? No way.
They may call themselves a Tapas bar, but its really a lounge that serves bar food. Its a comfortable lounge and the female employees with their short black dresses and knee high boots are great eye candy. Service is quick, if a bit impersonal. But the music is playing loud, so maybe that is a given. This is a good place in the Time Warner center to get a drink and sit down comfortably in a lounge setting. It is not a good place for a quick bite before a show at the TW Center. Better to try the Boucheron Bakery for that. Extensive drink menu, many "trendy" cocktails. Long list of single malt scotches, bourbons, and Cognacs. No Sherry, odd for a place that calls itself a tapas bar. But then none of the menu items would go with Sherry anyway.
