Stone Park Cafe

What a great place. Went there for dinner, no reservation, on a Saturday and they were able to squeeze us in without making it seem like they were doing us a favor. The food was excellent and our waitress was just great.

This place is all about the food. I have eaten here on numerous occassions and have loved every item I have gotten. The only issue I've had was inconsistency with the size of the fish sandwich. The first time I had it the piece of fish was massive, the second time it was tiny. That is my only complaint though. This place is definitely one of the top few restaurants in PS.

So this place deserves their recently awarded status as Best Rest by AOL city guide trust me! While I really only go for brunch, and sit at the bar b/c of insane mobs I love this place. I've gotten to know the owners, the host and of course my talented and warm barman! Bloody's are to die for, big strong and spicy, and Biscuits and gravy, of which I am a true afficianado- are the best I've ever had, wine list for dinner is priced well for the selections and there is a reason locals cannot get enough! Floor service has apparently had some rough patches but I've been assured they are being addressed, and don't let that stop you, the great, friendly atmosphere is considerable in the overall package!

Stone Park has some innovative brunch offerings if you like seafood. The prices are also quite reasonable for brunch, although the cost increases significantly for dinner.
