    Left with a headache!

My husband and I go here for brunch often but we usually sit outdoors or in the back. Yesterday we went with friends and we were seated in the front, right near the music speakers. The music was so loud that we couldn't carry on a conversation. I asked the head waiter if he could lower the sound a bit and he, with 'attitude' said, "No, we play our music loud. That's the kind of restaurant we are" I didn't ask him to shut the sound, only to lower it. We decided that, even though we like the food, we will not return to, or recommend, Stone Park Cafe anymore.

    Always Wonderful

Stone Park is our go-to restaurant for nice dates out, or if we want to indulge and enjoy a nice dinner. The food is always delicious, and the service is always great. It can get very busy, but the service has always been reliable in my experience. I've eaten here for dinners with just two and but also with a party of 10, and the service and food have always been great. My picky little sisters even enjoyed the food! Highly recommended, without hesitation!

    Love the food for dinner

My wife and I ate here with a friend and were absolutely floored. From appetizer to dessert, every single dish was so amazingly delicious. Just perfect. The price is steep but still cheaper than the city. My one gripe was that brunch here has been disappointing both times I've tried it. The BLT is an unwieldly mess that doesn't taste all that great yet costs a fortune. The pancakes were disappointing and so were the eggs. But I would come back for dinner anytime. And the place is so casually nice. Great atmosphere for food with friends or a date. Love this place.

I just LOVE eating at Stone Park

I live about 4 blocks from Stone Park, and there is plenty of competition on those blocks for restaurants to dine it. But somehow, I always want to go eat at Stone Park. Getting out of bed on weekends has now a glittery promise of Stone Park's Brunch, specifically the poached egg and Bluefish cakes. I recently had the dinner there and was blown away. It was exactly what most other restaurants aren't in this neighborhood. Manhattan quality, clever menu, and a full bar with lightening fast and friendly service to boot. Even when they are very busy, they still remember to bring you that hot sauce you asked for. Great specialty cocktail menu is a the cherry on top. Go eat here (or don't then I can have your table).

    Can't say enough nice things

I went to Stone Park with my parents for Mother's Day. I was nervous about having a nice evening and making sure my mom had a great time. I had done a lot of research beforehand and was told only good things about Stone Park I was really looking forward to it. Well, they could not have been nicer or more accomodating. My parents were driving in from Jersey and wound up being stuck in traffic. We were almost an hour and a half late for our reservation. I kept calling and the hostess (later the host, Paul) was honest that they were very booked but told me to come anyway, and that they would do everything possible to have a table for us at some point. Having been a hostess in NYC, I understood that this in itself was above and beyond. I was ready to cancel our reservation all together but they promised me that I should try to come in. *When we got there, they had a table waiting for us* It was, so kind and so touching, and it made the whole night feel so special. The food was delicious, the service was absolutely perfect and my faith in restaurants was restored. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

    Give me a Break!

After waiting 35 minutes to be seated for brunch, we didn't expect to sit waiting for someone to come over to our table, but sit we did. But then Guns and Roses started to blast away our conversation and that preoccupied us somewhat. The food arrived barely warm. Don't order the biscuit and sausage gravy, it is overloaded with flour. I couldn't wait to escape from this rude, overpriced place.
