I don't understand the high marks for food & drinks. Went here for a friend's bday. Here's the rundown: 1) attractive bouncer provided eye candy 2) poor mixed drinks - tasted 4 of them ordered by myself and friends from the cocktail menu, none of us liked any of them. No real fruit used, all syrups, couldn't even drink half of mine it was so disappointing (i had the lychee martini, no one could tell what it was, was cloudy white with no flavor except for the intense taste of cheap vodka) 3). Food - mixed assortment of apps were ordered, nothing I couldn't have gotten from the frozen foods section at CostCo. 4) Ambience - place looked nice, small but cute. Overall impression - not worth going back, unless ur interested in getting the bouncer's number.

I go to Stone Creek almost every Wednesday for their awesome pub quiz/trivia night that starts around 8. It's fun and you can win money off your tab. I eat there, too and the food is a modern, sophisticated take on bar favorites. Grilled buffalo chicken, individually topped nachos and other delicious treats make for a great night out!

In a neighborhood lacking good bars, this is a gem. A hidden gem, as it's off of Lexington Ave on 27th. The food is typical American bar food, but done really well. Staff is nice, friendly and remembers what you drink. There is a back area for private parties and every Wednesday at 8pm they host a trivia game. There are drink specials during pub quiz and winning teams get money off their bar tab.... so it's fun and potentially lucrative.

My Father was coming into town this one Wednesday night for Dinner. I knew I needed to pick something nice, but reasonable. With my background in design and personal assistant service, I usually look at the interiors of restaurants via their website, in addition to noting Restaurant reviews. This time, I went by the reviews alone. We could not have been more pleased with the evening. I don't know if it were the inviting, interesting and some what intimate atmosphere; comfortably dim lighting, softer than most bars enjoyable music that played, wainscoting and burl top bistro sized tables or the wonderful warm artichoke dip, the perfect Panini, tasteful turkey and brie sandwich (they happily substituted the regular mustard for honey mustard for me; ) or the wines that were paired, but I had one of the best evenings with my Father. The server remembered that In between my drinks, I liked a glass of water with lemons and delivered every time. My father tipped more generously then he ever had, because the service was that good. Stone Creek and just a stone’s throw away from East to West late 20s and highly recommended.

I asked the bartender to request them rare if possible and they definitely make an attempt but it's not always easy to do. The sliders were very good and came with all the toppings instead of just a piece of onion like at other places. I'll definitely go back.

There is little in this world more unbearable than people who post to rating websites not to review something but rather in an attempt to feel and/or appear superior to others. Give it a rest, "never went." There's no need to behave like a paternalistic ass or is it "ast?" Oh, and the reason I came here in the 1st place - this bar is a great find. The turkey and brie sandwich is excellent. A few more t.v.s would be nice for sports-watching purposes (since they promote their NFL Sunday Ticket), but you can't have everything.

I never went here before, but i was just reading about it. I have a couple corrections for a person below me. First, it is pass not past. And second, a medium rare burger? Burgers are made up of ground beef, which means beef from different parts of the cow, some parts worse than others. Eating a burger like that rare/ medium rare, is assured ecoli posioning, so congrates for the bar helping you avoid it. Thats all I have to say, im going there tonight now.
